    Thank you for the suggestion. We currently do not have this planned on our roadmap. We will place this in our backlog as we continue evaluating ideas to improve Box Drive.

    Enable automatic locking of files with a specific extension or program. There are multiple users who use CAD files for example and every time another user opens the file, Box creates an additional file with the same name and a different version. In CAD, users open multiple files and locking each individual file becomes too much of work for the users.
