Send notifications to multiple emails
We have a separate instance for managed external users. Because they have to create a dummy email for these externals, the email is not one that is able to receive notifications. They would like the ability to tack on working emails (without the unique email constraint) so that these users can still receive email notifications.
9 votesThis feature, called the Alternate Notification Email, was delivered as an opt-in experience in the Admin Console on Sept 25, 2019. We also support developer APIs for admins who need to configure emails programatically. Allow Customers to Enable Auto-Roll in settings on Admin Console
Allow Customers to Enable Auto-Roll in settings on Admin Console would reduce the unnecessary escalations to Box support team.
If an administrator can enable and to see the settings, the admin/co-admin keep up on what options that they are using and enabled2 votesAuto Roll-In has been released as Auto Enrollment in Admin Console under Domain Management.

We want to search external users by specific email domain. We can do this for managed users, but not for external users.

Allow admins to report on activity of external collaborators.
We want to report on external collaborator usage of our specific content for a number of reasons:
1) to be able to access if their external collaborators are no longer using our data and should be removed
2) to help us understand how their internal users are working with people outside of the enterprise.
Right now, the reporting is limited to showing when people have accepted folders, or users can go to access stats - neither of these options is sufficient.
Ability to see activity of external Collaborators.

Enhance description of "Shared Contacts" setting for User Permissions
Area of product: Admin Console > choose admin/co-admin user > Edit user details > Edit User Access Permissions > Shared Contacts > description bubble
Currently this describes "Allow this user to see all managed users. If enabled, this user will be able to access other managed users in their contacts when inviting collaborators. External users will not show up in their contacts unless they are already collaborating with each other."
However, if this is unchecked it also prohibits Admins/Co-Admins from searching for managed users in Reporting and other areas of the Admin Console. Which is not mentioned or hinted at…

Need report on just first level folders and collaborators and last edit date
Use Case: We need a way to filter the file and folder tree report before running to slim it down to show only folders.
We're doing an audit of our confidential folders called data rooms and need this data.

We released an improvement to the Groups UI to allow the full group and folder names to be displayed. Long group and folder names will now wrap to subsequent lines so you will not have to hover over each group or folder name to view the full name.

Shared Link Details: Add 'Date Created' Column
The Shared Link Details report is a great report currently that provides admins a wealth of information when performing an 'inventory' or security review of all existing shared links.
One additional column that would be very helpful to include is a 'Date Created' column that would provide a date entry for each shared link. This information is currently reported in Usage Logs, but is essentially impossible for an admin to correlate between the Shared Link Details report and the Usage Logs export for 'Item Shared' entries.
Add a 'Date Created' column to the Shared Link Details report.
This would be…

Make it easier to filter events that occurred in a particular folder (including subfolders)
Use Case:
- There's a parent folder with multiple levels of sub folders.
- This parent folder is shared out to a group or some external collabs
- Parent folder's owner wants to know how many downloads have happened from the parent folderCurrently, seems like there's two ways to do this but neither are scalable or easy to do if the folder tree is complex:
Option 1:
Run Usage Logs on all download events over the given time period
Export the report
Use Excel or some other program to filter off of the "Contained in folder" column
This requires…78 votes -
When a user downloads a folder, the admin would like the individual files shown as downloaded in the access stats reports
Currently if you download a folder, the report will only show the user downloading a folder, not the individual files iwthin the folder. The client would like to know exactly what was downloaded as the content of a folder can change in it lifetime

Add ability for administrators to prevent managed users from changing their profile information.
Most importantly, prevent managed users from changing their display name to something inappropriate ("CEO")

Last Activity - Add 'Last Activity' Info & Sort Option to Managed Users Page
We currently do not expose the 'Last Activity' field for Managed Users anywhere in the Admin Console.
This is a very helpful piece of information for admins to have easy access to in order to get a good idea, quickly, whether a user has recently been active in Box or not.
REQUEST:
--Add a 'Last Activity' field/value for each user in the list of users on the Managed User page
--Add 'Sort By: Last Active Date' to the Managed Users page so that admins can easily see who is recently (or not recently active)71 votes -

Allow group admins to search for all managed users
Currently, group admins can add any managed user into their group, but searching for users will not auto-populate unless the user is already in a group that they manage.
