Ability to annotate pdf
my users would really love a feature to allow PDF annotation of the actual PDF document without having to open the document in another tool. We can then retain the document/presentation and the notes for record keeping. makes for a super efficient meeting
1 voteHi Everyone,
please be informed you can annotate a pdf in your Box mobile app.

Ability to resize photos uploaded from Box Capture
The size of the photos taken and uploaded by Box Capture is about 5MB each.
In addition to Box, we also sync uploaded items to our on-premise server, so there is a capacity control on the server side, and a 5MB image is too large. We would like to be able to choose some upper limit of capacity when we take a picture with Box Capture.
(We would like to have the ability to automatically resize the image when shooting in Box Capture).(e.g. high quality mode, standard quality mode, low quality mode, etc.)

Box…

When choosing where to save email attachments, we would like the collection to be reflected in the choices.
When importing email attachments into Box from the standard iPhone mail app, the Box collection feature is not available.
This makes it difficult to reach the specified folder in the Box.Please make it possible to choose where to store email attachments from collections as well.
In other words, when choosing where to store email attachments, the collection should also be reflected in the choices.iPhoneの標準メールアプリからメール添付ファイルをBOXに取り込む際、BOXのコレクション機能が使えません。
2 votesIn order to accomplish this request, please first save the file to a location inside Box. You may then select the file and “add” it to a collection for reference.
Collections are links to files rather than their saved location, hence you are not able to save a file directly into a collection.

Toggle the Activity bar or Side by Side off and On when using an IPAD.
This is regarding the newest version of the IOS APP on an IPAD . When a user is using their IPAD as a laptop or in Landscape mode, the default is to have the Side by Side on. This shows a Blank Activities Pane. It would be great to only show the activities Pane if there are any notes. However the user should have the ability to toggle the bar, and regain the screen real estate.

Ability to draw on images in Box note or on .jpg, .png .gif files on mobile platform
Hello, it would be great if there was a feature that I could draw on a photo directly (especially on the mobile platform), and ALSO to be able to draw on a photo INSIDE Box Notes.
I can open a photo from Box on the desktop and it opens the photo in Paint and I can draw on it and save it back to Box, but I cannot do this on the mobile platform Box Edit Can't be used on mobile platforms :''( . I currently have to take a screenshot of the photo I want to edit, draw on…
2 votesThe ability to draw on images is available through our new Annotations feature. Simply open the image file in preview mode, tap on the new option for annotations (see attached image) and you can start drawing.
This functionality is not yet supported inside of Box Notes, but we will consider adding this in the future!

Allow users the ability to make content (mostly video) available offline on the mobile app while also not allowing download permissions acro
Allow users the ability to make content (mostly video) available offline on the mobile app while also not allowing download permissions across the browser, Drive, etc. Something similar to Netflix, which allows shows to be viewable offline on the app with no downloading on other devices.
The reason for the use case is that executives will review confidential trailers on their phone/tablet. They need the ability to review the content even if the internet is spotty. But we need to restrict the ability to download a copy to prevent exfiltration of sensitive content.

Swipe between previews on mobile (outside of webapp)
Currently, users would need to click on a picture to preview it, then close the preview in order to preview something else. This is not an acceptable user experience.
Dropbox does provide this functionality. Would it be possible to add the "swipe" option to navigate between previews?
10 votesThis feature is currently available in our iOS app when previewing images. When on an image preview, swipe left or right to view other images in the folder.
To see all images in a folder at once, you can also take advantage of gallery view. From an image preview, tap on the icon in the top right corner that looks like four squares. This will launch you into gallery mode, allowing you to see all images in a folder and select between them.

The ability for an admin to disable EMM validation check
We would like to deploy Box for EMM through MobileIron but would like to disable the Box check against our MobileIron server because we do not want to expose our MobileIron server to the public internet.

Upload multiple photos from the Box app and upload them directly to Box.

Previewer Uploader Able to Download Files
When a link is sent with the access level set to "Collaborators Only" a "Previewer Uploader" Collaborator can then open the link from their email and have the option to "Open in App" and the IOS app will give them the opportunity to Download the File. The file can then be uploaded to Google Drive and then viewed on a desktop or mobile device. This basically gives the Previewer Uploader the ability to download the file.
0 votesWe prevent this already.
