Box Sign - Default values to template fields
Add default values to template fields. This way some fields can be prepopulated for the signer, but the signer still has the ability to change the field if needed.

With pre-fill fields, you can pre-fill data within specific fields prior to sending documents. Additionally you can toggle certain fields as read-only, locking field data and preventing it from being modified by signers.

Additionally: Senders can pre-populate data into read-only fields when leveraging Box Sign APIs for prefill tags or the batch send feature, when inputting data into the custom CSV. Now you can leverage Box Sign for high volume use cases with greater control over field data, like employee handbooks, compensation plans, and much more. Template tags will support read-only fields as well, enabling senders with a more streamlined sending experience without the need to manually drag and drop fields and mark them as read-only.

Allow Box Sign to work without open shared links
At this time, our organization does not allow open shared links to the world, only those in the organization and those with the folder shared to them (internal and external). We were dismayed to learn from Support and Engineering that Box Sign will NOT function in this configuration, especially considering we feel this is not an unreasonable level of security to have on our folders. We still want to utilize the Sign function - help us out!

Allow box sign envelope/request to be edited by sender after sending
Our box sign files are typically sent from admin, to an approver/signer being a manager or partner, then sent to our client for signing. We deal in financial & tax documents and so the manager/partner needs to check documents and signing packs for completeness and accuracy before sending. We don't have time to create these packs ourselves as this is an admin task (similar to old style drafting letters and putting them in the post).
If the manager/partner finds an error, the whole document envelope/request needs to be cancelled and started over again. An error might be in the contents…

Ability to add branding to Box Sign notifications
Could fall under this request as well "Allow custom logo in Box notifications" - but just had a customer surface the need to add a logo to their Sign notifications, which would escalate the urgency to complete and return the document to the next signature.

Send Error Message when it is wrong email address in Box Sign request
Currently in Box Sign, when you input an email address that doesn't exist, it doesn't give any error and in the interface, it is successfully "sent".
If there is a feature to let the user know that there is an error because it could not send the sign request, it would be very useful.
The background of this need is that if there is a typo in an email address and the sender doesn't notice it, they would just assume that the sign request email was sent and there is no way to know that the receiver never received it.

3 votesWe have released the ability for signers to add files to a signature request via a file attachment field that senders can drag and drop within a signature request or document template. This new field allows senders to request additional documentation from signers.
With the signer attachment field, signers can now upload multiple files per attachment field. Once completed, all attached files and base documents are added to the final, completed signature request and designated destination folder within the sender’s Box account as separate PDFs. Both senders and signers have the ability to download all files individually or as a ZIP file.
The signer attachment field is available to customers on Enterprise and Enterprise Plus plans.

Include a signature chrome is made up of the extra Box Sign elements that frame the signature.

Allow more options for signers. Add same recipient twice or more in the workflow
Please allow more options for signers (eg I may need to sign a document in position 1 and position 3), and also allow an option for a cc or recipient only.
In my professional role we need letters and forms signed. I need to sign the letter before it goes to the client for signing. I then need to sign the tax form after they've signed it. BoxSign signature upload function should apply to all BoxSign signers.
I want the scope of the BoxSign signature upload function to apply to all BoxSign signers.
Currently, BoxSign's signature upload function is only applicable to paid accounts.
I believe that there are many times when you sign in with a mobile device such as an iPad on the go, without logging into Box.
In addition, not everyone has a paid account when they request a signature, so it is not efficient for business if people who do not have an account or who have a free account cannot upload their signature.Therefore, I would like to see the signature upload…

Create a simple Self-Sign feature in Box Sign for rapid single signature by user
Allow for a simple self-signature type option on Box Sign. This would allow someone to simply click on a file, choose "Apply my signature" from a menu, and let the Box Sign engine perform the process of allowing the user's signature and completion. The signed version and log will be kept in the working folder where original file exists. Please allow other users after the fact to also sign a "Signed Document" by appending to the process.

Update Box Sign to be more compatible with Google Chrome. Can't consistently open agreement requests in Chrome.
Majority of the time I can't open an agreement request for signature in Google Chrome. I have to use a different browser in order to not see an error message.

This is an old request and lots of product improvements have been release since the date the request was created.

Additional options on new Sign Request
when creating a new Sign Request, you are only prompted with these options: "Draw, Type, and Saved. it will be good if we can insert or upload saved signs from the local PC

Ability for a signer to sign the document twice at two different stages of the signing process
In our workflow for accounting and tax in Australia it is common for a document with cover letter to have the letter signed out by a director to a client, the client signs the document and then following their signature the director signs (signed authority is required by the client before this signature is done).
At the moment from what I can see the person signing twice can only sign at the start or end, but not both.
