Would like to be able to have Mac interoperability for BoxSign to utilize CAC/PIV.

Automatically add date and time to all signature fields
Currently, you need to manually add the date field to a sign request. The date field and timestamp of signature should automatically be added to all signature fields, as this information is always needed to validate a signature as an official document. The signing log, where this information is collected today, is often separated from the signed file and calls into question official status of the signature.

For Box Sign - Enforce 2FA for all external signers
for our Federal Customers = they need stronger controls for esignature which require external signers to use some for of 2fa.
Request is to enforce 2FA at tenant level for all external signers - including when using CAC/PIV5 votes -
Customizing Sender in Ready Sign Link
When Box Sign is initiated via Ready Sign Link, the Template Creator currently becomes the Sender of the sign request.
However, depending on the document or process, we may want the user who initiates the Ready Sign Link to be the Sender. To address this, it would be helpful if the Sender could be customizable when generating the Ready Sign Link (e.g., choose either the Template Creator or the Ready Sign Link Initiator as the Sender).
As a workaround, we are currently using a Service Account user to create the template, so the Sender appears as something like "ACME Sign…

Need ability overwrite the files created during replacement on Box Sign
Users use a template to sign PDF documents submitted by end users via Sign, replacing the submitted files. This operation is implemented company-wide, utilizing this template-based process. In some cases, there are dozens of submissions in a single day, resulting in a large number of files being generated daily, which has become quite problematic.
The main problem is that:
1. There is a template1
2. I click “Use Template”, then the system creates “template1copy”

Allow use of signature and initial image files for GXP part 11 compliant signatures
Could you please allow the use of signature image files when signing under GXP part 11 compliant conditions? As currently configured, only "fake" machine-generated signatures are given as options. Since the Part 11 compliance is conveyed by the coding, the selection of an actual signature image - as allowed for non-Part 11 compliant signatures (and initials) - should be an option. Thanks.

Calculated Fields in Box Sign
Box Sign does not currently have a way to calculate numbers that are filled out within specific fields. Examples include: setting up an order form, automatically populating contract term expiration date, and signing up forms with multiple choices.

Ability to create Custom Fields
I want to create custom versions of standard fields and save them for reuse on future documents that I send.
Custom fields help speed up the document preparation by allowing me to reuse previously created fields customized for my needs.Custom fields work like any other standard field. I can just place it on my document, and it retains all of the field properties I defined previously, such as font styles, validation, title, options for radiobuttons/dropdowns and others.

Change the Send From Email
Have the ability to send from another email, so instead of sending a contract from a specific user, i can send from a company email instead. Additionally we have multiple emails we send contracts from so i would like to select which email to send as.
These are branded so its important its coming from the correct brand.

Add an option to check declined reason for Box Sign
When requesting a signature to a multiple signer in sequence, and the signature is declined, the user who signed in the middle can't see the rejected reason except in the Signing logs.
Therefore, we'd like to have a different option to check declined reason for requester and signer.
e.g. Show declined reason at Box Sign's "Sent Requests" or "Shared with Me" screens.2 votes -
Status drop down in Sign has no way to filter for "Error"
The Status drop down has no option to filter for a error. It took 17 days before it emailed a contract had an error. I have no way of filtering if there are others with a error.
Can Error be added to the Status filter?

Dynamically name signed documents based on metadata: signer's full name, company, email and others
When there are documents in the same folder or templates that are repeatably signed with the same name (Ready Sign Link, Batch Send), Box Sign adds a number and () to the filename to note the different/unique files.
There needs to be a better way to name the files - perhaps using metadata or using the unique id of the sign request. And then all files - signed docs and signed log would be renamed with the same name. Otherwise it's very hard to tell files apart when they all have the same name with just a number and ()…

Enterprise-Level Signature Activity Report
Add the ability to generate a report that summarizes signature request activity per user across the enterprise. The report should include metrics such as number of documents sent, signed, pending, and completed—providing admins with better visibility into usage patterns, adoption, and compliance tracking. This feature would support enterprise auditing, license optimization, and overall workflow analysis.

Ready-Sign Links: Ability to make signers optional
Currently, ready-sign links require all signers to be assigned (i.e. I must enter an email address for signer 1 and signer 2). This means that one can't create a ready-sign link when multiple signers might be (but aren't always) needed.
Examples:
A registration form for an event where all attendees in the party need to sign. If there is only one attendee, there are no additional signers (and those fields would be left blank)
A form that must also be signed by a parent if the primary signer is a minor. If the primary signer is NOT a minor, no…

Remember previously used settings for a signature request preparation
Would like the ability to change the default settings so it sends automatic reminders all the time instead of having to select for every envelope.
Also, if you change the size of a signature field in an envelope it should stay that size for the entire envelope.
Would also like to be able to see which document pages already have a signature field in the side bar so I don't need to scroll through the entire document to check.

Box Sign make colors for signers more distinguishable
When using Box Sign for documents with four or more signers, the colors for signer #1 & signer #4 are nearly indistinguishable, especially for anyone with limited color processing/color blindness. See attached image.
All other signature boxes vary widely from each other. Given the nearly endless range of colors available, it would be extremely helpful if Box:
1) changed the default color of either #1 or #4 to better differentiate the two items; and/or
2) allowed admins to customize the signing box colors to better fit branding requirements.

Release a new Sign template that does not pin documents to prevent file duplication
Box Sign allows the creation of templates that replace the underlying document within a signature request / template while keeping the existing field placeholders in place.
However, using a different document than the pre-set document will result in duplicate files identical to the original document in the destination folder of the Sign document.
This means that one unnecessary file is generated each time the template is used once.
If a template is used 100 times, there can be as many as 100 unnecessary files!
