At this time, we are developing solutions for using groups to grant access to apps and enterprise settings. https://pulse.box.com/forums/909778/suggestions/36670615
Supporting nested groups may be a longer term vision that we consider after solving the first problem above.

I also agree with this content.
Currently, members within the Box group are designated on an individual basis. However, we would like to request the capability to specify not only individuals but also designate “groups”. For instance:
・On the company’s organizational chart, departments are situated under divisions.
・In Box, we have already created separate groups, such as the “XX Division Group” and the “YY Department Group”.
・Rather than setting the “XX Division Group” by individual designations, if we could instead configure the “YY Department Group” itself as a “sub-group”, it would streamline processes in the event of personnel changes. It would only be necessary to maintain the sub-group, “YY Department Group”, leading to efficiency gains for both the requesting and maintaining parties. As it stands, additional maintenance of the “XX Division Group” is required.
Given the recent utilization of Box, not only are we creating groups based on organizational structure, but also groups specialized for specific business functions. Consequently, we would appreciate it if you could introduce more flexibility into the group member designation process.
