Thank you for the suggestion. Box currently offers the ability to lock folders using the folder lock API - https://developer.box.com/reference/post-folder-locks/
We do not have a feature on our roadmap to expose this functionality from Box Drive. We will place this in our backlog as we continue evaluating ideas to improve Box Drive.
Please keep the feedback & use cases coming to help us prioritize this in the future!

We currently have a progress bar in the upload manager that indicates percentage complete. Adding an estimate for time could be helpful for users, but we won’t be able to prioritize this ask due to conflicting priorities – I’d suggest using the percentage complete as a benchmark for now.

I would really love to see both of these features as well! Number of files left and estimated time remaining both. I'm surprised Dropbox has this feature and Box does not. I've you're moving a lot of files around on Box Drive, it is frustrating not knowing when they are going to be available to everyone else.
I would also welcome this feature, as I am currently dealing with the fact someone in my office just accidentally moved our active case folder (which contains many, many TB of data we are all accessing constantly) on accident, and Box is telling me it may take several hours to move it all back, which is a real problem but thankfully it's the end of the day.
