Thanks for the suggestion. Typically updates between box.com and Box Drive should happen very quickly. If they are not, we’d recommend filing a support ticket in case there is an issue.

Moving one of your own Box folders into someone elses folder (where you are also an editor) does not require any confirmation. i.e. if you accidentally drag the folder (who hasn't done that in Windows Explorer at some point), the folder is moved. If this happens accidentally (as happened in one particular case), you expose the folder and its contents to all users with access to the new parent folder. Not great especially if that data is sensitive.
When reversing the process, i.e. moving that folder back out into your All files root, there is a very solid warning before you are allowed to perform the move.
So whilst there is enough protection moving a folder out of another folder, it is too easy for someone who is not a power user to accidentally move and expose what should be a secure folder.
