Add list of Groups user is currently a member of to the Managed User Screen
In the "Edit User Access permissions" section of the Managed User page, there is a list of all the groups and a column to indicate if the user is a member. Admin must scroll through all the groups (1000's) to find which groups the user is in.
Would like to see a separate section that just lists the groups the user is currently a member of.

Customize Collaborator Permission Levels
Any chance that we can have some flexibility in the "Collaborator Permission Levels." Can we develop a tool to edit these levels, like check which function the user can have. Having set levels with no flexibility is difficult because every user needs different access.

Request Compliance Reports from Admin Console
It would be great if customers could request SOC reports (and possibly other Compliance reports) directly from the Admin Console. This way requests go to the right people right away, expediting the report return rate!

Save the actual name of past collaborators on box rather than have them named prior collaborator
Would like to have the ability to keep the name of a past collaborator on a Box file instead of it being named past collaborator

Report on installed Box Drive versions by user
Need a report admins can run that will show all users who have ever used Drive and what the last version of Drive they last used was. Ideally there is a Device ID or Device Name as well.
Use Case - Often admins do not have a device management system which would be used to run this report. Without that system in place OR without all devices being managed under it, admins have no visibility into what software is installed on their unmanaged users machines. Functionality to clear pinned device from user's account settings
Currently pinned devices for the device pinning functionality can be cleared by the admin console only. User should be able to do this so that user can choose which devices to use Box with without asking the Box admin every time.

Enable a enterprise setting to not require the use of the verification email when creating accounts that are not SSO
I have the need to be able to have accounts created in our test instance and then be able to either directly log into these account or go into them via the Admin Console to log in to verify settings and other items. The Test instance is currently not requiring SSO, direct login to Box only. So the request will be either have a enterprise setting or per user setting to be able to create a Box account but just have it able to be logged into without a verification email being sent and the link being selected.

Permissions for forensic investigations
Would like a “forensic” co-admin permission. The “forensic” co-admin permission would have the permission to “login as…” any user; however, any action they take “as user” will not be reported either in access stats or in other user accessible reports.
This will allow our team to conduct forensic investigations without alerting the end user.

Add ethical walls to collaboration
We'd like to set up controls to prevent certain groups (like Investment Banking) from collaborating with users in a different group (Research).
8 votesThis is currently not planned. We are looking into restrictions that admins could set at this level, but there is nothing planned on the roadmap for this as of now.

Reporting for Former Employee(s)
I'd like to be able to run reports, like the failed login report, on former employee's deleted accounts. Once their account is deleted, they can no longer be searched so impossible to run a report on that group of individuals.

Add a “Display Name” field that can be customized to display name in a variety of formats For example {LastName},{FirstName} ({Department})

Ability to hide the modified date in Content Explorer
We would like the ability to hide the ‘modified’ column in the Content Explorer UI, and display the name and size of the content only.

This feature is not planned for the first half of this year as we improve usability of the existing Managed Users page. We will revisit this feature request in the second half of the year and as more customers demand this type of report.

We are currently considering how to address customers’ needs for dealing with inactive content.
Reporting functionality for inactive content will be considered at a later date as we enable our customers to manage such content.

Report showing total number of files from Box
This is useful for being able to price out an enterprise search tool.
1 voteStorage size used is generally used as a measure of value rather than the absolute number of files stored in Box.
We would be happy to consider additional cases where displaying the number of files and/or folders would be helpful.
