Storage size used is generally used as a measure of value rather than the absolute number of files stored in Box.
We would be happy to consider additional cases where displaying the number of files and/or folders would be helpful.

In addition to the total number of items across the entire tenant, it would be useful for us when analyzing tenant usage if there were a feature that allowed us to specify conditions such as file extensions or file sizes to check the number of matching items.
