There is an issue with the Box for Zoom app. There's an option in the app to allow a user to save Zoom recordings to Box - it's a simple toggle switch. However, you can NOT change or specify the location or folder on Box that the Zoom recording files get saved to. It's built in as "My Zoom Recordings" and has to be on the All Files root level of Box.
However, we have and would prefer to use the Restrict Content Creation option to only Admins so we don't end up with a ton of extra folders on the root level of our Box drive/storage....so if that's restricted/enabled, then our standard users cannot use the Box for Zoom function to save Zoom recordings to Box...the two options conflict with each other.
Can we get two improvements to the Box for Zoom app please:
First - the option for users to configure or select where to save Zoom recording files so it doesn't have to be at the root folder level of our Box account?
and second: the option to also save or keep the toggle always on on the Box for Zoom app to save recordings from Zoom to Box - currently it defaults to off so you always have to turn it back on for each and every call or meeting on Zoom you have.
