Retrieve logs of users who uploaded files via the file request link
The file request link is extremely useful in our daily operations. It is a great feature that allows users without a Box account to upload files to Box. However, under the current specifications, if logging in to Box is not required in the settings, no information about the person who uploaded the file via the file request link is recorded in the logs. This poses a significant problem from an audit and compliance perspective.

Audit log for changes to Hub settings.
I would like changes to the “Hubs Global Presets” or “Hub Settings” to be recorded in the security log.
Even if we apply restrictions on collaboration and shared links, there is currently no way to trace what happened when those restrictions are somehow removed. From a security and compliance standpoint, not being able to review an audit trail of these operations poses a significant risk.（日本語）

Request for Flexible Report Output Naming and Folder Configuration
We would like to request enhanced flexibility in report output management.
Specifically:1.The ability to assign arbitrary names to report output files
2.Support for adding dynamic variables (e.g., date) to file names
3.The ability to specify separate output folders for each report definitionThese enhancements would improve usability and enable more efficient organization and management of report outputs.

Past password changes included in the report.
Currently, it is possible to check the date and time of the last password change, but we have confirmed that past password change history is not included in the report.
Being able to check how frequently passwords are changed will also help improve security.現在、最後にパスワード変更した日時を確認することは可能ですがこれまでに変更された実績がレポートに載らないことを確認してます。

Regarding the time it takes for scheduled reports to be generated
Content: The Box support site mentions that report generation can take up to 12 hours.
Most reports are usually generated within a few minutes to a few tens of minutes, but scheduled reports often take about 12 hours to be output.
Although it is within the expected range, waiting half a day for the output affects business operations, so we request a functional improvement to shorten the time it takes for reports to be generated.(日本語)

Request for a Report Listing Groups and Their Members
The [Group] report has been released, and it is now more convenient since we can check the list of groups.
However, it would be even more useful for inventory/cleanup purposes if we could see a list of the members belonging to each group.
We are currently recording group member lists manually, so we are looking forward to the release of a feature that allows us to export both the list of groups and their members all at once in a report.

Schedule Retention Policy Disposition Report
There are several common reporting capabilities which appear to be missing from Retention / Disposition reports:
Ability to name & save a report configuration for future re-use
Ability to schedule a report to be run regularly - Seems like a no-brainer for topics like disposition, which inherently continuously needs review as content falls out of retention
Ability to collaborate individuals on a report so that business stakeholders can review regularly scheduled reports without needing an admin

We would like to obtain access logs for Box Hubs.
I would like information about users accessing Hubs to be visible in the Activity Report.
Currently, the only Hub-related information that can be obtained in the Activity Report is the history of using Box AI for Hubs and records of Hub admins inviting users.
It would be very helpful if the Activity Report could display which user accessed which Hub and when.

In the "Folders and Files" report, I want to get the number of contents for each folder.
When copying or moving content, the process tends to become unstable or more prone to errors as the number of contents in the target folder increases. Therefore, as a countermeasure, there are cases where content is divided into smaller parts and copied/moved multiple times. However, currently, the number of contents per folder, which serves as a basis for this judgment, cannot be obtained from the report.
It would be very helpful if the "Folders and Files" report could also retrieve the number of contents in each folder.

Enhanced Hub Reporting
Content published to Hubs can be previewed across folders by any user who has access to the Hub, regardless of their folder-level permissions. While this is a great strength of Hubs, it also introduces security risks.
The current Hub reporting is not sufficient for Box Admins to properly manage this. Box Admins would like to regularly review the content published to Hubs in order to mitigate security risks.
If more detailed reporting were available, Admins could, for example, generate lists by Hub owner and ask each Hub owner to review and clean up their own Hubs.

Enable Reliable Exports for Large amount of Content
When there’s a large amount of content, the folder and file report export gets canceled. Please make it possible to complete the export.
If exporting everything at once is difficult, splitting is fine—please allow selecting multiple folders and batching the export instructions.

Export all contents of a folder deleted from the trash to the User Activity Report.
Currently, when a folder is purged from the trash, the information of the contents within it is not logged.
This lack of evidence makes it difficult to conduct audits in cases of accidental deletion or security incidents, such as the risk of confidential data leaks.
We strongly request the implementation of this feature so that we can accurately identify and verify exactly which contents have been permanently deleted.現在の仕様では、ごみ箱から削除するとフォルダ内のコンテンツ情報は出力されない認識です。

Adding AI activities to the User Activity Report
Box AI reporting is currently only available to tenants on the Enterprise Plus plan.
Box AI is now available to tenants with the business plan or above, but since operation logs cannot be confirmed from reports, auditing is not possible, making it unusable for businesses and posing a fatal security flaw.
In order to use and utilize Box AI, please make sure that AI activities are output regardless of your plan.(日本語訳)

Widen Report Selection Window So Scroll Bar Does Not Overlap Report Type Bubble Selector
Please either widen the report selection window, move the report selection bubbles left, or the scroll bar to the right so that the scroll bar does not overlap with the selection bubbles. When you scroll through the report types, the scroll bar appears and overlaps with the report type selection bubbles, forcing us to wait for it to disappear before we are able to select the report type. Please make some small CSS change to stop this from happening. It is a minor thing but it gets in the way every time when scrolling down and is infuriating.

Request to add output items to the Box Hubs Report
Could you please include the "Hub Settings" items in the output of the Box Hubs Report?
After a Hub is created, the creator configures access and collaboration settings for the Hub in "Hub Settings."
As Box administrators, we would like to have an overview of access and collaboration settings for each Hub.
While the settings can be checked individually in Content > Hubs by clicking into each Hub, it is necessary to open each one separately to confirm the configurations.
Therefore, it would be much more convenient if "Hub Settings" could be reviewed collectively in the report.16 votes -
Have "View" functionality available when selecting "include sub-folders"
At this time, when running a report and toggling on the "include subfolders" option, the "View" option is not supported. A "No matching results found" message appears or the previewed actions don't take the selected folders into consideration.
The generated report does show the correct actions with the selected filters, but there's a need for better previewing before running the report. This will allow admins to have a clearer understanding of what will be in the final report.

There is currently no simple way to schedule a daily report, other than clicking every day for a year.

I am looking to have a User Details report automatically filter out platform users from managed users. Additionally, I'd like to see some other configurations of user outputs:
All Users (managed, unmanaged, external, and platform users)
Managed Users (managed users ONLY [without platform users])
Platform Users (only platform users)
Unmanaged Users (unmanaged users)
External Users (external users)
Managed and Unmanaged (managed [not platform] and unmanaged users)
