Thank you for the suggestion. We currently do not have this planned on our roadmap. We will place this in our backlog as we continue evaluating ideas to improve Box Drive.
Please keep the feedback & use cases coming to help us prioritize this in the future!

Being unable to use aliases locally on Box Drive can be a bit limiting. Would be great if it wouldn't corrupt / alter the alias file (on mac)!

Dropbox has this function and it would be great to be able to spring load into the same folder on our local devices (mac - Finder; PC - explorer)

This is integral to the way our agency works. We need native file shortcuts that work with Box Drive. Ideally, it would not auto-corrupt the file. Not asking for new functionality - just asking that it allows file types to sync and operate natively without intrusion. Aliases on Mac get corrupted when simply trying to use a folder or file alias natively on mac via box drive.
