Moving shared folders is not on the near-term roadmap. We understand the massive importance and we hope that a new product development to be released in 2020 will help address content sprawl.

Thanks for your feedback. We unfortunately don't have plans to support a Linux client for Box Drive at this time.

I think Option 2 is well-needed. I don't think having one "shared with me" folder will resolve the issue, as then the "shared with me" folder will be the cluttered folder. I would like to be able to organize my folders in the way that I want. The way that everything is in the root folder makes Box almost unusable.
Having all files that are shared with me at the root/home directory makes Box very cumbersome to navigate. I would REALLY like to be able to organize my files myself.
