  1. Ability to configure Part 11 Signing Reasons

    Currently the signer is presented with default signing reasons under Part 11 as below:

    a) I read and approve this document
    b) I read and agree to this document
    c) I read and authored this document

    However, customers who activate Part 11 configuration should have the ability to add or remove or customize signing reasons for Signers to select.

  2. When a document is accessed in Box Sign on a phone, the document thumbnail that is displayed is zoomed out fully, which makes it difficult

    Would love to see improved mobile display/interface when accessing documents to sign on a phone. When a document is viewed for signing on a mobile device the document that displays is zoomed out fully. On a phone, the zoom is challenging to navigate and it's hard to select the fields to complete for signing.

    We're pleased to announce that the improvement you voted for has been released. You can now use the 'Status' filter for 'Sent Requests', 'Shared with Me' and 'Inbox' tabs within Box Sign.

  4. We would like the Box Sign sender experience to revert back to its previous state to show "others only".

    Until now, the sender experience for Box Sign has been able to select "Other People Only".
    As background, a workflow has been set up in an environment where the signature field is only for non-senders, but the flow has stopped because it is waiting for a signature from a sender who is not in the signature field.
    We are aware of a workaround by changing the sender's role from "signer" to "receive a copy," but this has caused a lot of frustration because it is not as easy to operate.
    We would like to see the Sender Experience returned to…

    Thank you for the feedback, the default role of the sender is now changed to "Get a Copy" , the  discoverability of how to change recipient role & settings was also improved

  6. Box Sign required field

    Have option to make Required Fields highlighted (or otherwise noticeable) from the Signer's viewpoint. Getting a lot of client frustration as can't complete a Sign document as can't find what required field they still need to fill out.

  7. Box Sign - Multiple Documents in One Request

    Allow me to add multiple documents to one BoxSign request. This may include attachments that require a signature, need to be acknowledged, or are for reference only. This will not include a signer having the ability top upload documents.

    I am happy to announce we released the ability to send a Box Sign request with multiple files. We will continue to develop this feature in the next few quarters but adding the ability to kick off a multi-document request within Box more easily, add the functionality to our APIs, increase performance  as well as streamline our workflows.

  8. Shared Box Sign group status dashboard / Ability to share sign requests with team members

    When sending out Box Sign requests we need the ability for multiple team members to check in on how current Box Sign requests are progressing. They can't be tied to just the sender as sometimes staff work part-time and another staff member has to go in and push the signature along.

    It would be amazing to see Box Sign have access to groups for a group based dashboard e.g. Finance Team. That would enable everyone in the group to go in and track the current Sign requests and push them along when another team member isn't around to do so.

  9. Box Sign - Checkbox review NOT required to complete Box Sign request.

    Box Sign - Checkbox not required.

    Today, I have some documents with 40+ checkboxes where in theory none of them have to be checked in order to sign the document. Today, even if I mark the checkbox as "not required," I still have to manually review every single checkbox or else the Box Sign user interface will not let me complete the Box Sign request.

    There should be three options:
    (1) Checkbox required to complete Box Sign request.
    (2) Checkbox review required to complete Box Sign request.
    (3) Checkbox review NOT required to complete Box Sign request.

    Reviewing optional checkboxes is NOT required to complete a Sign request now.


    We will continue exploring and improving checkboxes behavior in the future, for example: saving the checkbox size when preparing a document for senders AND additional setting to require reviewing of optional checkboxes.

  11. Granular control over Box Sign expiration dates

    We would like more granular control over the expiration dates for both initial signature requests and the expiration on the completed signed document. We need to be able to offer smaller windows of time for expiration, whether that is based on the number of clicks or a shorter number of days. The shortest time period currently offered is 7 days. Docusign allows expiration after the signer has clicked on a document 5 times or within 48 hours.

    We would like to see the same on the completed request as well, 14 days is too long for the Shared Link to…

  12. Type Email Address twice

    Have an option to type an Email address twice.

    This is for requests that require the user to sign twice that is before and after everyone has signed so that they can confirm at the end of the form

  13. Box Sign "Duplicated emails You cannot use the same email more than once."

    People who create templates cannot use them because they'll get a "Duplicated emails
    You cannot use the same email more than once." message. We need to be able to add people to receive copies of templates as well, but then they also can't use the templates if they need to fill them out. We've been able to work around this using alternate emails for people receiving a copy in the templates, but they should be able to be added multiple times to avoid having to use a workaround like this.

  14. Sender default options for Box Sign Salesforce

    When a sender requests documents to be signed, the default role and order for the sender will be "will receive a copy" and "1", respectively. These default options cannot be changed currently. It would be nice to be able to adjust these settings.

  16. Increase signature size in Box-sign on saved document

    Once a document is signed, the signature is so small it is barely legible. It is declined frequently because it is not legible. It should be a larger size - i.e. like DocuSign.

  17. Increase the number of Sign requests displayed on “sent requests” and “my requests” pages.

    Only 10 Sign requests are displayed on Box Sign “sent requests” and “my requests”pages and it is needed to click next page button to look for the previous Sign requests. As the number of requests increases, it takes more time to go back to previous requests.

    It would be nice if Box Sign “sent requests” and “my requests” pages provides infinite scroll or increase the number of displayed Sign requests.

    We're pleased to announce that the improvement you voted for has been released. We now provide infinite scrolling for 'Sent Requests' and 'Inbox' as well as for any other tab within Box Sign.

  18. Update Box Sign font and style

    Right now the default signature font is much smaller than the date field and the signatures are, to be frank, childish looking. Just give me a boring monospaced font + date, maybe a watermark so that it looks professional. I feel like I'm going to be laughed at if I try and present this as an alternative to Adobe Sign or Docusign as it is now.

  19. Group select with the ability to copy/paste, align and reassign fields

    The inability to group select fields and move, copy and paste, align or reassign them on BoxSign is extremely frustrating and makes using BoxSign tedious. HelloSign and many of the other e-signature platforms all have this feature and the lack of it on BoxSign really makes it feel like a subpar product.

    We have released the 'batch send' capability in Box Sign.

    This enables senders to send signature requests in bulk by uploading a spreadsheet of contacts and specifying the document. Box Sign will then send out a unique invite to everyone listed in the spreadsheet.

    The batch send feature is available on the Box Enterprise Plus plan.

    This helps address high-volume business processes including:

    • Internal processes like HR sending a building entry form that needs to be signed by all employees working in a facility, or annually acknowledging they they have received and read the employee handbook
    • External processes like Legal having to send a notice/addendum to all customers regarding an update on contract language.
