A box-native metadata table is not currently on the roadmap, but we have launched our metadata query toolkit alongside a content-explorer element that can emulate the same experience.

Thanks for the suggestion! We’re looking at ways to improve content sprawl in the future on Box Drive. We’ll consider your suggestion, along with other options, to help solve this problem.

We would also want to be able to include the columns of metadata based on the templates such as Classifications to be shown in the users default file view rather than making them have to click on each separate file to see the value.
