This is not a priority for the team at this time. We will reconsider with additional customer demand.

At this point, there is no short to medium-term plan to extend File Request to accept folder uploads. Please continue to upvote/add feedback so we are able to revisit the prioritization at a later time. Thanks!

The problem is: One field in each file request form MUST be a required field. There is no way to create a file request without at least one required field.
Here's why it's a problem: Imagine I want all of my clients to upload documents A, B and C, so I create a file request form with upload zones labeled for A, B and C. A new client goes to the form to see what they need to upload, but they realize that they only have B and C today. Maybe they'll have A next week, but we want to get started as soon as possible with what they have right now. Unfortunately, I made "A" the required field so they can't submit the form at all.
It makes the form unnecessarily complicated and confusing for my client and creates extra work every time I have to tell a client to upload a "fake" document "A" just to make the form work.
Why have required fields at all? Let the designer of the file request decide what needs to be required, if anything.
