APEX SDK need group collaboration support
We are working on building out our SFDC integration to support some additional work flows. We leverage groups heavily and would like the ability to collaborate groups using the APEX SDK, which currently is not supported. User collaboration is.

File Picker: Add file preview pane to file picker widget.
We are using the file picker widget in a custom app. We are requesting the addition of a preview pane to the file picker widget so our end users can get a preview of files they are potentially adding.

Allow selecting a different root folder post install
After we mirrored our production environment to a SFDC sandbox, the sandbox comes with the Box integration pre-installed and the Salesforce Root Folder pre-populated to point to the same folder connected to the production instance.
We would like the ability to configure the sandbox instance of the integration to point to any other folder, either via UI or exposed via SDK/toolkit.
1 voteThis capability exists today in the Box for Salesforce integration. Users can map a Sandbox and Production Salesforce environment to different root folders within 1 Box EID.

Previewer Uploader Able to Download Files
When a link is sent with the access level set to "Collaborators Only" a "Previewer Uploader" Collaborator can then open the link from their email and have the option to "Open in App" and the IOS app will give them the opportunity to Download the File. The file can then be uploaded to Google Drive and then viewed on a desktop or mobile device. This basically gives the Previewer Uploader the ability to download the file.

Pasting Excel Table into Box Note
User would like to be able to paste and Excel table into a Box Note for ease of sharing data all in one file.

Assigned Tasks needs to be all Completed and not declined for Automation to trigger the next action
Automation won't move a file for "complete task" action unless all the tasks on it are completed. No task can be Declined.

.PKG File for Deploying Box Edit
We currently only provide a DMG file for deploying Box Edit on a Mac. This is not really scalable and not the preferred way to deploy apps to Mac workstations in large enterprises.

Add 'Description' Field for Groups in Box
Groups in AD have a custom 'descriptions' field; the Groups feature should have the same parity to give more context to Groups within the Admin Console, especially, as a large company, we have many Groups that have similar names.

Replace all OpenLibre excel conversion servers with genuine MS Excel conversion servers OR Excel UI within Box Preview
Currently there are several display errors and discrepancies with our OpenLibre office conversion engine. (incorrect aates are shown, shapes are not rendering, comments are blacked out, fonts are incorrect etc).
This could be resolved by leveraging a native Microsoft Excel conversion mechanism OR by replacing Box Preview with a native O365 Excel Online-based viewer within the Box webapp.

Metadata driven Automations
Customer wants the ability to push an approved item into multiple folders at once, which would be done using Box automations with metadata, where specific metadata can be added to push items into specific folders.
For example adding metadata ?a?, ?b? and ?c? to a document will move the file to folders ?a?, ?b? and ?c?.

Make a Custom Action app available to managed users only
Create a public app that is available to members of the enterprise only. We would like to create a custom app that allows users to launch a Record Manager app that's tied to the main enterprise record software.
Currently Box only allows this to be available as a public app, which we do not want to do. We prefer to limit this app to be available to managed users of this EID only.
0 votesIt is possible to create a managed user app for the enterprise’s users only. One can achieve this by creating an OAuth2.0 app and not making the app public by either sharing it on the Box app gallery or making the API key public.
