Thank you for the feedback. Do you have a file and folder naming convention you follow that will make the sort by name to be more useful than sort by updated date?

Yes, my organization uses a format like this:
01 <folder 1 name>
02 <folder 2 name>
03 <folder 3 name>
etc...
This enables us to sort folders ourselves by priority / frequency of access rather than last updated, and allows consistency of organization across our file structure. So to be able to have the default sort be by name would be very helpful--especially since the default sort applies itself every time you navigate away from / back to a given folder such that if you want it sorted by name you need to manually do so every time you navigate to it. Sorting by updated date ends up being pretty chaotic.Anonymous supported this idea ·
