We are currently focused on building groups for access to 1st and 3rd party apps and specific enterprise settings in Box rather than focusing on groups or individual users for sharing controls. Uservoice request here: pulse.box.com/admin/v3/suggestions/36670615
To achieve granular sharing controls, you can explore using Box Shield to classify sensitive content and set access policies to that content.

Not planned for now. When we update admin login flow in FY20 H2, this will be under consideration.

No plans at this time to make this more granular – while we’re interested in this one, to make this feature work well there is a decent amount of UI complexity to sort through on both the admin and end-user side.

This should be managed through our existing permissions framework rather than a specific policy. If an external user deletes a file, it also lives in the owner’s trash folder who is a managed user in this instance.

We understand the request, but unfortunately this is not on the near-term roadmap. We are currently prioritizing automatically locking/unlocking files on Box Drive for Office files on Windows. We will revisit this feature in the future.
