Box storage platform already has optimizations in place to intelligently detect active (most recently and frequently used) data, and migrate it to cost-effective tiers. Great suggestion though!

Thank you for the feedback here -we are considering various ways to split shared/owned content & are considering this for the future roadmap, but don’t currently have a timeline for this.

Relatedly, many of my users have requested the ability to be able to "file" content that is shared with them in their own folder structures rather than having it appear in the root of their Box accounts (All Files).
