    Support for Spotlight on macOS is out with the release of version 2.53 (https://support.box.com/hc/en-us/articles/53361463306515-Box-Drive-v2-53-Release-Notes).


    The request will be left in the "gathering feedback" stage, as Finder/File Explorer search functionality does remain limited.

    Box Drive folder seems to become searchable as a side effect of changing the folder location using this method:

    After doing this (I used the most comfortable "C:\Box"), it should be visible to search tools. Tested in Total Commander search and Voidtools Everything.
