This has come up in the context of research and academic integrity investigations after a person has left. It can also come up in patent law cases, where it can be critical to establishing disclosure of intellectual property.

Not only are uploads delayed, but they are sometimes lost entirely. The only response from Box support was "it has been concluded that what you are doing is out of the scope of what the Email Upload functionality is capable of," along with the suggestion to upvote this request.

This suggestion is not under consideration for our roadmap. We are currently focusing on improving the performance and UI to manage users in the Users & Groups tab. We will revisit this request to make removal of users from the suppression list self-service in the next 6 months. In the meantime, we will explore short-term options to notify the admin if a user is added to the suppression list.

Also alert the user, because otherwise the user just wonders why they're not getting notifications and may not ask the admin for action. Also let the admin clear the block without a support case.

We would like this as well for setting up special collaboration folders. Several of our groups really want to set the automatic folder deletion date by API as well.
