Thanks for the feedback! Users already have the ability to selectively sync (mark content for offline access) today in Box Drive. What I believe you’re asking for is a curated view of content you select to show up in Box Drive. That’s something we’re considering as we think about how to solve the content sprawl issue in Box Drive.

While we understand the value of such feature, we are currently focused on improving the upload experience to make the ingestion of media files faster.

Moving shared folders is not on the near-term roadmap. We understand the massive importance and we hope that a new product development to be released in 2020 will help address content sprawl.

Option 2 is the only one that solves the problem.
If you only have a "Shared with me" folder it just moves the problems of name conflicts (i.e. 4 or 5 people sharing a folder with the same name) one level up - into the "Shared with me" folder.
