  2. Admin, content owner, and/or content co-owners can lock folders in the native UI so that they can't be moved.

    We’re not planning a ‘fast switch’ option to allow a user to easily switch between 2 different Box accounts on Box Drive while maintaining all cached data. The only option we have now is that users can ‘logout’ of their current account and sign into another account, but the caveat is that this will delete all their local cached data/MFO settings from Box Drive

    You can now hide files and folders in Box Drive. For now, hidden content will continue to sync, but this may change in the future.

    Thanks for the suggestion. Typically updates between box.com and Box Drive should happen very quickly. If they are not, we’d recommend filing a support ticket in case there is an issue.

    This feature is not currently planned, but it is a second-priority item for our team. A related feature—the ability to open a file in Box Drive from the web app—is on our roadmap and will be an initial step toward supporting this request.     Thank you for the suggestion. Box currently offers the ability to lock folders using the folder lock API - https://developer.box.com/reference/post-folder-locks/

    We do not have a feature on our roadmap to expose this functionality from Box Drive. We will place this in our backlog as we continue evaluating ideas to improve Box Drive.
