Ability to Copy a Hub to a New Hub
Copy a hub would be a super helpful feature because today if you want to hub - in any way - you have to rebuild the new hub from scratch each time.
With a Copy Hub option when the copied hub is created, it would contain all the associated branding, structure, and content as the oroginal and the user would then be able to reuse that as necessary - change/add/remove - the new hub.67 votes -
Box Hubs - Restrict external collaboration for tenant in admin console
I understand that BoxHubs is planning to release a function to restrict external collaboration on a per-Hub basis, but I would like to have a function that can be configured in the Admin Console for tenant. Because setting for each hub would be very time-consuming and would result in setting omissions.
57 votesWe currently have a Private Beta for Hubs defaults in Admin console: the possibility to set Hubs settings on Enterprise level and restrict co-owners from changing them. GA is planned on the middle of July. Please, contact your CSM if you want to join Beta now

Hubs permission model should be more granular
Currently in the Box Hubs Beta, all collaborators invited into a Hub receive the "Viewer" permission on files and folders linked in the Hub. This does not allow for Hub content to be view-only and block downloading of content. Alternative methods of managing this such as rolling out classification policies would not be scalable as Hubs usage grows. It would be great if Hubs collaboration could be more granular and there was an ability to invite users or groups into a Hub with other permissions such as "Previewer" so they are more restricted on what they can do after accessing…

Box Hubs Inherited Permissions
The ability to set up a hub that inherits the permissions of the folders/files added. When creating a Hub to have the ability to decide (using a toggle) if content in the Hub should inherit existing permissions or have new permissions granted.

Ability to post photos, videos, and hyperlinks in Box Hubs.
While posting the photo and video files is nice, it would be faster to be able to easily look at photos without clicking into their previews. Also, hyperlinks and adding Box shortcut files are a must—we can't currently offer employees a list of helpful external resources in Hubs. (We could provide a PDF/Word doc with all the resource links, but, again, this requires extra steps for the end user.)

Update Notification in Box Hubs
We currently have a limitation with Box Hubs, where there is no feature to notify users about updates to content placed within each Hub. Presently, we rely on traditional portal sites such as SharePoint to accomplish this task.
To address this, it would be highly beneficial if the personnel responsible for uploading documents to each Hub could also post updates on a dedicated "Announcements Page." This page would be configured by administrators but managed by the respective Hub content owners, enabling employees to view the latest updates at the start of their workday. This could potentially replace the need for…

Box Hub Image Previews for External Users
Image previews in a Box Hub are not available unless logged in. We love the Box Hubs internally and would love for them to be as helpful and useful for non-users.

We would like the number of contents per hub to be displayed in the Box Hubs management function
When using Box AI for Hubs, the current limit for the number of pieces of content that can be placed in one Hub is 10,000.
We would like to be able to check this upper limit in the Hubs list in the administration console.Box AI for Hubsを利用するにあたり、1つのHubに配置できるコンテンツ数は現在10,000が上限です。
その上限値が管理コンソールのHubs一覧で確認できるようにしてほしいです。7 votesHello! This functionality is already planned for development.

Ability to exclude invitation restrictions in tenant settings in Hubs
We would like the ability to add folders with editor privileges in Hubs, even if only co-owners or higher can be invited in the tenant settings, so that it does not affect the invitation restrictions in the tenant settings.
Anticipate that many companies will not be able to change the invitation restrictions on the tenant side due to personnel issuances, security risk avoidance, etc.
Like to see this feature implemented, as it would improve the convenience of Hubs if there is a function to prevent tenant settings from affecting Hubs.
4 votes -
Unable to add a content to a Hub site due to folder settings and Enterprise settings
When an user who is invited as editor to contents at folder level or file level tries to choose q folder or file to add a Hub site, those files and folders are grayed out and unable to choose.
this is due to the invite is limited at enterprise setting or folder setting as below./ At Enterprise settings, Box amin checks "only the admin, fokder owner and co-owers can nvite collaborators"
or
/At folder settings, "only folder owenrs and co-owners can send collaborators invites" is checkedThis is bit strange because the user is editor, but it seems that…

Hubs open documents in new tab
When opening a document in Box Hubs, the browser window is fully taken over by the document, and it's not currently possible to use standard browser actions like Ctrl+Click, middle mouse click, or right-click > "Open in New Tab." This limitation significantly hinders the ability to efficiently review multiple documents at once and makes side-by-side comparisons impossible. It would greatly improve productivity if Box Hubs allowed documents to be opened in new tabs. Please consider updating this feature.

Editing Box Hubs: Adding a description to a file or folder
I'd like to be able to add a short description to each file and folder I add to the Hub.
For example, a description is added just below the file or folder icon, or a speech bubble appears when you hover the cursor over the file or folder icon.19 votes -

Use Box AI by selecting multiple files from Hubs search results
Customers want to implement an experience in Hub that allows them to select files from search results and use Box AI, just like the search function on Box.
Customer Needs:
Currently, if Box AI for Hubs does not provide the correct answer, they would like to select files from keyword search results and use Box AI.
Box上の検索機能のように検索結果からファイルを選択してBox AIを使う体験をHubでも実装することを顧客が希望しています。

How to Prevent Content with Classification Labels from Being Published on Hubs
We want to set up a system so that if a user tries to publish a folder or file with a specific classification label to Hubs, a warning message will appear or an alert will be sent to administrators.
Within our company, we assign classification labels to content that is kept private except for specific users, and we are also careful when granting access permissions. However, if such content is published on Hubs, any user who can view the Hub will be able to access the content, which defeats the purpose. We want to be able to strictly manage the…3 votes -
We would like to make only files with a specific metadata template assigned eligible for publication in Hubs.
When publishing a folder to Hubs, all files under the target folder are published, which quickly exceeds the file limit for using Box AI for Hubs.
When publishing a folder, I want to filter and publish only the necessary files that have unique metadata (e.g., contracts, proposals, etc.) under that folder to the Hub, so that Box AI can be used more efficiently.

Box Hubs: Allow search functionality within Box Hubs for users without Box accounts
Current functionality: If a user without a Box account access a Box Hub through a shared link, they do not see the search bar
Desired functionality: A user without a Box account accessing a Box Hub will still be able to use the search bar
Use Case: Using Box as a marketing DAM housing photos. A hub could be used to provide access to approved photos so that non-Box users can search for approved photos they need.
