    The ability to configure this has only become more necessary with the new changes to the UI. All of our users want to search everywhere, and the main way they do this is navigating back to their root directory (All Files, now just files) to access search everywhere.

    With the added functionality of hover on files to see recent files, this process breaks because that popup menu covers the search bar.
