    I got this requirements many time from customers who need to share sensitive content (e.g. bid proposal). The workaround is to create a new folder, move the file to it and invite people as previewer. It means a lot of clicks.

    Thank you for the feedback. We understand that the current permissions behavior for Box Notes images is not necessarily intuitive, and are actively looking into ways to improve that user experience. We don’t yet have a timeline for delivery, but will update here when its available.

    We understand the request, but unfortunately this is not on the near-term roadmap. We will be exploring improvements and enhancements to Tasks in the next 1-2 years and will take this into consideration when we do.

    Very often with CCM opportunities, customers want users to be able to create documents from existing templates. These templates are maintained by a given team, and the other users can't delete/modify/update these templates.
    Box doesn't offer a way for viewer to copy a file a file to another folder. They have to download the file and upload to another folder. This is very annoying.
    Granting people with viewer+uploader is not a valid workaround because this allow users to update the document.
    Viewer should be able to copy files. Copy should surface as a button/command not only as a shortcut as for viewer+uploader. Of course viewer can't be granted with move permission.
