I have the same requirement - I have been trying to figure out how to add conditional rules in box sign. In the example below I am trying to set up a rule where only if the resident checks off the box that says yes they have to fill in the text on the 2 boxes highlighted next to it but, if they check off no they do not have to complete the two highlighted boxes

For Office files stored in Box, we are enabling the capability coauthor in real-time with collaborators. This will eliminate issues that arise when creating conflict copies. For other files types that do not support coauthoring, we do not have a feature planned on our roadmap, to notify users when the file is locked outside of the lock icon that is displayed on the file in the Explorer/Finder view.
We will place this in our backlog as we continue evaluating ideas to improve Box Drive.
Please keep the feedback & use cases coming to help us prioritize this in the future!

Is there a way to set up Box Drive so that when a file is open that the second person to open the file gets a notification at least (and ideally can choose to ‘Read Only’, or ‘Save As’), similar to how windows file explorer handles this?

Would be a great to have the ability to select either folders or files in the reporting feature instead of getting a report that is over 1Million lines of data when all we need is a 6000 line report for folders. Also, why is Reporting not a category on this page?

The current "locking" of files in my opinion is useless. If a user locks a file and marks it for disable download , any user with Co-Owner, Editor or Viewer/Uploader can unlock the file. This is really not very helpful or useful. What good is the Disable Download feature if a user can unlock the file? While instructing users to check for the Red Lock, so users do not unlock a file and/or writing a comment on the preview page may be helpful, it does not solve the issue. Only the Co-Owner or Owners should be able to unlock files not Editors or Viewer/uploaders - Even if they are collaborators in the same folder.
Further, why show users the option to choose the blue text "Lock file to prevent others from editing it" when this clearly does not happen?
Will you take a look at this request and provide some feedback, please?

This suggestion is not under consideration for the current or future roadmap because there is not enough demand from customers to sort members by access level.

Would be fantastic if Box can add a sort so admins can sort the "select group this user is in" specifically, the access level row. we have thousands of groups and it is painful to go scroll down all the groups. Also, if there is a way to create a report from this section that would be even better. Thank you!

Thanks for the suggestion! We are looking at how to improve content sprawl on Drive. We will be considering Collections as a possible path (among other options), but don’t have a change planned in the near-term.

I completely support all other Box users who are asking for Box Collections or similar functionality to be made available in Box Drive. This is a must for Box to develop and implements. Please do consider the development of this solution as a must for the continued success of Box and its users.

This issue is a big headache for us. I also see the comments below all described the issue going back to 2021 and no response from Box yet. Can Box provide a temporary solution - at least? Thought please!! Thanks,
