Conditional Fields Functionality
Provide conditional field functionality that will only allow certain fields appear to the recipient when a specified condition is met.
The Product Team is considering this request for development the next year. Please share additional feedback and use cases to help us understand what functionality is the most needed and how it's going to be used.

I have a customer requesting for this conditional formatting to be included in Box Sign. Example of situation:
- Start with a yes/no question.
- If a user selects "yes"-> nothing appears
- If a user selects "no"-> a field question appears asking them to explain why. -

Commenting to boost awareness - conditional fields would add major utility to Box Sign. The absence of this feature lags behind other mainstream e-signature platforms like DocuSign and Adobe Sign.

I am happy to jump on a call and show you all of the use cases I've built in another product.
However, here are some examples:
1. Drop down for full time or part time employee. Full time shows and opens a salary field, benefits fields, and PTO options. Part time shows and opens hourly wage fields as well as pre-populates benefits and PTO with values.
2. When selecting remote vs in office, remote shows and opens fields for IT hardware to populate.
3. Conflict of interest documentation - when no conflict is selected, fields auto populate. When conflict is selected, fields show and open to populate based on the users details.
4. Termination request - if the manager selects that the terminated employees email and files should be accessible to someone, fields then show and are open to populate information.
I have dozens of examples. But this is thematically what I need.
Again, happy to jump on a call or video chat to show these examples within the forms/product. Glad to see this is getting traction.
Thank you.

I have the same requirement - I have been trying to figure out how to add conditional rules in box sign. In the example below I am trying to set up a rule where only if the resident checks off the box that says yes they have to fill in the text on the 2 boxes highlighted next to it but, if they check off no they do not have to complete the two highlighted boxes

Conditional Fields - We have a few templates in DocuSign that use conditional logic where certain form fields become required based on a trigger from another field like a radio button, check box etc.
Requesting to have this functionality added to Box Sign so that this particular use can be moved from DocuSign.

+1 to jimd's comment. Imagine the following scenario:
You want the signer to opt-in to something and if they do to fill in some additional info.
There's no way to do currently while *requiring* an answer. You can put the check box in but if the user can over the checkbox and then fill in the fields after as if they had checked it. Can't enforce an opt-in or opt-out choice.
This could also be solved by having a radio button option in addition to checkbox.

Or, instead of fields that appear, simply changing specific existing text fields from optional to required IF a certain checkbox is selected.
