An error occurred while saving the comment Rob MacIndoe commentedPlease reposition the next (and previous) file arrows, so they do not get in the way of folder content/scroll bars/etc.
When trying to look through a folder of .zip files, I noticed that when I look at a .zip file, the hit box for "next file" (>) arrow (to the right of the content listing) is overlapping the scroll bar, so if I try to click on the scroll bar to scroll the contents of the .zip, I often end up being taken to the next .zip in the folder instead. It would be better if the hi boxes were visible, and then it would be more obvious that the positioning interferes with other controls. Perhaps they could be moved off the content entirely so they dont get in the way?

This interstitial (‘leaving Box’) page exists due to some requirements from our Security team.
Providing a whitelist for companies to use is not a feature that the Web App team will be prioritizing in the near future given other commitments.

The leaving box specifically says "If you trust the source of the link, continue below to view the content on another website." - I could tell you that in advance with a whitelist!

An error occurred while saving the comment Rob MacIndoe commentedYes! It's annoying that renaming and moving folders, in order to tidy up your view of the world, also has to impact other people's view.
Folders have a dual job because they arrange files but also provide the ownership management model. If users could create links (or bookmarks were improved) they could use these to organise their view of the resources on box without affecting the group.

We will likely consider bookmark support in the future for Box Drive, but it’s not planned in the near-term.
Rob MacIndoe supported this idea ·An error occurred while saving the comment Rob MacIndoe commentedI really wish Box would recognise the usefulness of being able to create a link to other box files and folders. Using bookmarks for this is a pretty poor experience IMHO.

We currently do not have this planned on our roadmap. Please keep the feedback & use cases coming to help us prioritize this in the future!
An error occurred while saving the comment Rob MacIndoe commentedA URL to a useful resource is no less a valid item than any other file that might be stored on box. Having said that... bookmarks on box are pretty poor. For one thing it's referred to as a bookmark but then it gets listed in a separate area called "Weblinks" (why not "bookmarks", or have a "make weblink" option? Bookmarks/weblinks/URLs need some development attention IMHO.

We understand the convenience that implementing this feature would bring, but recommend using the existing Bookmarks feature as a more efficient and simplified means for achieving the desired behavior.
An error occurred while saving the comment Rob MacIndoe commentedThe bookmarks function is too basic. For links to files/folders that are already in box, should be able to have the same experience with a link as as for other box files/folders that I can see/edit/etc (see the thumbnail, context menu etc.). Effectively, to interact with the target item as if I had navigated to it and clicked or viewed it there.

An error occurred while saving the comment Rob MacIndoe commentedYe please! (voted!) Because of the way that folders and files can be moved around and their position in the folder hierarchy is not always shown, we often have to give context to files/folders by using long names. This can mean many files/folders end up starting with the same words, so cannot tell file apart on the left navi bar, making it less useful.

I just accidentally clicked on the delete (X) cross on an item in a collection. It was deleted right away.
As there is no undo, you should guard against this, particularly as the item delete button appears in the same location as the collection open/close twisties. I have no way of seeing what I just removed, to put it back.
Alternatively, include an "undo" in the confirmatory message that briefly appears (and have the message linger for much longer).
