Ability to resize metadata column widths
We have some file names that exceed that default widths of the columns in a Box App. We would like the ability to increase the width of a column if the length of the content exceeds the default column width. Currently, the only way to see the whole file name is to hover your mouse and wait for the small popup to show the file name, often requiring an end user to do this for every file returned in a view.

Disable Public Links for Box Hubs Specifically
Box Hubs permissions are tied to global shared link settings which makes it impossible to block public links without disabling it across all documents and folders. I would like to be able to specifically disable public links for Box Hubs as the risk profile is far greater than the normal file/folder.
Our worst case scenario is that someone accidentally provides a publicly accessible link to a Hub which would "break" permissions for all files and folders added to it.

When asking questions to Box AI within a Box Hub, content in Call outs and Paragraphs should be available as context for Box AI.

Tenant-level shared link restrictions for Box Hubs
We strictly manage folders and files on Box,
but the ability to select "People with the link" in Box Hubs poses a serious risk of data leakage.
To ensure secure usage,
we request the addition of a tenant-level setting that disables the "People with the link" option for Box Hubs shared links.Without this restriction, it will be difficult to allow users to utilize Box Hubs safely within our organization

Add Open Text boxes for Box Forms
Add a text "section" to a form. The text is to expand on the instructions on the form. The character limit on the instructions is limited and the instructions apply to multiple form selections.

reorder box hub pages
I would like the ability to reorder the pages within a Box Hub. We can reorder content within the page, but not the actual pages in the left navigation.

Support for doc gen to output word documents
Allow Doc Gen to output to word (Docx) format.
It would be really helpful to fill out a template with data passed to it and output a word doc format for further editing where needed.

Ability to Make Box Apps Home Page
Currently, Apps in not one of the options for the default homepage. Being able to configure this would help end users interact with content in Box more quickly.

Multi-select filter for Box Apps Views
For filters in a View in Box Apps, I would like the ability to select multiple options in a drop-down list. For drop-down menu filters today, you can only select one option, but there are many use cases where multiple would be beneficial - e.g. I want to see all documents not in “complete” status so I would like to filter for “in progress”, “ready for first review”, “ready for second review” etc.
4 votesThanks for voting on this one! We recently launched more advanced filter options for Box Apps Views. This includes multi-select for filters on metadata that are single-select fields, as well as improvements to date filters, number filters, and text.

Add sections with no input needed and pages to Box Forms.
It would be great if Box Forms would include sections where you can have descriptions of what is expected, but without any input required. This would help let users understand expectations and give instructions. It would also be nice to have a next button so if you have a really long form, you don't have to keep scrolling, you can just hit 'next' to next page as you move through form. This would also help with logic where in stead of fields appearing/disapearring, they would just either be included or not included on next page based on previous response.

More items at a time on a file View in Box Apps
Allow for more items on a dashboard view - up to 250 per page or a continuously loading selection as I scroll down would be ideal.

The ability to block users from adding any sign field apart from Sign field
Within the GMP world in life sciences you need the ability to block users from adding any field apart from the sign block when setting up a sign request. If you scan a GMP record and send it out for signature you need to make sure the user cannot alter the scanned doc. e.g. if the user adds a sign text field and then makes a correction on a calculation from the original paper doc. then this is not reflected in the original doc

User can perform multi-doc AI queries from the Box Apps view
Currently a user can only select files in a folder to run a multi-doc query. They should also be able to select files in a Box Apps view to perform multi-doc AI queries.

Hi there! I want to be able to embed the Box Hubs AI chat box on Sharepoint.
The idea: A user visits the intranet, navigates to policies, and can ask about any of our internal policies. The box hub behind it would be full of our policies / documentation. But all the user see's is the Box Hubs Chat Box where they can type human language in about their vacation time or whatever.

Certain Windows applications, don’t work with Box Drive
I would like to be able to use Windows apps (such as the built-in Photo app or Snipping Tool app) when opening image files in Box Drive.
In a company with strict security like ours, all apps that can be used are controlled by administrators, and free apps cannot be used without permission.
In addition, adding apps requires an almost hopeless application process, and free apps cannot be added due to security policies.
If BoxDrive could use Windows apps, that would solve this problem, so could you please make it possible somehow?-in Japanese-

Update Notification in Box Hubs
We currently have a limitation with Box Hubs, where there is no feature to notify users about updates to content placed within each Hub. Presently, we rely on traditional portal sites such as SharePoint to accomplish this task.
To address this, it would be highly beneficial if the personnel responsible for uploading documents to each Hub could also post updates on a dedicated "Announcements Page." This page would be configured by administrators but managed by the respective Hub content owners, enabling employees to view the latest updates at the start of their workday. Require Co-Admin privileges to change a Shield Classification Label
Require a user to have Co-Admin privileges in order to change an existing classification label. This is to prevent even Owners the ability to change the classification label to a lower security level once it's been set.

Ability to Copy a Hub to a New Hub
Copy a hub would be a super helpful feature because today if you want to hub - in any way - you have to rebuild the new hub from scratch each time.
