Make admin console reports (Folders & Files, Collaborations, Shared Links) run at scale
I saw on the Community site that there is a 10 million item limit, but my company has way more items than that. It is important for us to have these reports for security audits.

Drive: Notifications when there is simultaneous editing happening
When multiple people are simultaneously editing in Drive multiple versions save as different copies. There should be notifications so people don't have to lock files to let others know they are editing a document.
264 votesWe have launched the capability to coauthor Office, iWork and Google Workspace files from Box Drive. Coauthoring documents will provide indication on the users who are actively editing the document.
We currently do not have this planned on our roadmap for other file types. Please keep the feedback & use cases coming to help us prioritize this in the future!

Box Drive search for specific folder
Currently there is not way to search for a folder name offline. All you can search for is a file name. This can be problematic if you have multiple files with the same name, but just in different locations. Suggest being able to search for file name and then open file.
244 votesThe ability to search for items in a specific folder was delivered in Box Drive v2.17!

Box Sign - Multiple Documents in One Request
Allow me to add multiple documents to one BoxSign request. This may include attachments that require a signature, need to be acknowledged, or are for reference only. This will not include a signer having the ability top upload documents.
188 votesI am happy to announce we released the ability to send a Box Sign request with multiple files. We will continue to develop this feature in the next few quarters but adding the ability to kick off a multi-document request within Box more easily, add the functionality to our APIs, increase performance as well as streamline our workflows.
Please checkout the feature and add any new request within Pulse. Your feedback matters and thank you all for your comments and suggestions.

Ability to force sync of Box Drive
Currently, Drive relies on event poll for updating cached contents, and if events (updates on web) are not picked up by Drive in a timely manner, then local contents get outdated (out of sync with web). As a workaround, we want the ability to force sync of a selected folder (maybe add a right click menu to force sync/refresh cache).
171 votesThis feature was delivered in Box Drive v2.25!
User can right-click on a folder in Box Drive and choose "Refresh folder" to get the latest updates made to this folder from Box on demand if they notice that some updates don't already reflect in Finder/Explorer.

Allow the "User Activity" report to be run for a folder and all sub-folders & content within that folder
Today, the admin may select to run the "User Activity" report for a particular folder. When run for a particular folder, the report will only filter on the contents of the selected folder, and not the contents of subfolders within. Request that the report includes the folder and all sub-folders & contents within that folder, removing the need to run the report at the enterprise level and filtering to a particular folder path from there.
172 votesWe've rolled this out in a recent release. Thank you for helping make Box better!

User Trash -- Ability to search within Trash from the Web for end users
Since Box has a public-facing Search API that allows searching within the Trash, the Web App should also make use of this functionality and allow users to search in Trash from the Web. API documentation here: https://docs.box.com/reference#searching-for-content
145 votesEnd users can now search the trash from the web. For more information, see the product announcement: https://support.box.com/hc/en-us/articles/360053054514-Search-the-trash-on-the-web

box drive sync progress
When syncing large amounts of data or many items into Box, I don't have a number of items remaining unless I try to log out of Box drive while it is uploading. Could we take that information and put it into the Box Drive icon like it was displayed in Box Sync?
144 votesThis feature was delivered in Box Drive v2.20!
Users can easily view upload and download progress in the new Transfers UI (accessible via the system tray on Windows or menu bar on Mac).

Smaller icons for Box Drive on windows
The "status" icons on folders/files in Box Drive cover up 80% of the thumbnail for the file (or folder itself). This happens when explorer is set to list or details view.
This makes scanning a folder with many documents for a particular file type extremely difficult, as there's not much visual distinction between excel, word, and ppt docs when they're all covered by one of the Box Drive syncing status icons. The PPT/Excel/Word logos are completely covered with just a vague hint of color peeking out.
It would be ideal to figure out some way to make these icons smaller,…

Add a report that lists metadata set for folders and files.
There are many metadata templates, and each users can set them.
In this situation, being able to see in lists what metadatas are actually applied to which files/folders and what values are set can be very helpful in managing contents and metadata.102 votesThe ability to optionally include Metadata in Folders and Files report has been delivered and is generally available (GA).

Preview files about xdw, xbd and xct in Box for iOS.
Please support xdw, xbd and xct files in Box for iOS.
Box for iOS can preview files supported by Box, such as PDF.
However, Box for iOS can not preview xdw, xbd and xct files (*1) for the following reasons.DocuWorks Viewer Light (iOS) (*2) implements Quick Look Preview Extension.
Thus, an app can preview xdw, xbd and xct files if the app implements QLPreviewController.
Although Box for iOS has already implemented QLPreviewController, previewing xdw, xbd and xct files are not supported by Box.*1)

Box Drive: Support ARM processors
The new Microsoft Surface Pro X uses an ARM based processor and Box Drive doesn't support ARM processors. I'm sure use of the ARM processors will increase rapidly since it allows for much longer battery life and support cellular data connections.
81 votesWe launched ARM support for Apple devices with Box Drive v2.22
We currently do not have this planned for Windows devices.
Please keep the feedback & use cases coming to help us prioritize this in the future!
