Create reports for Shield actions/tracking
Create reporting for Shield activities, including the following:
1) Classifications applied by their name (i.e. 'externalpublic used on 157 folders/files'). This would help determine popular and unpopular classifications.
2) User who applied the classification label and each time they applied one (i.e. Person A applied shield classification labels on 10/1, 10/2, 10/3, etc). Helps see who is using the labels and how frequently.
3) User and which label they applied (i.e. Person B applied the externalpublic label on 10/1, 10/2, 10/3, etc.). Helps see a combo of the above two bullets.
4) Number of times a shield classification…15 votesClassification report is GA.

Add the ITEM ID to the User Activity report (when activity is against a file or folder) in order to join to Files and Folder report on ID
Add the item id to the User Activity report (when activity is against a file or folder). This would allow the User Activity events to be joined to the Files and Folders report data in order to report on activity against files and folders. An example report would be a list of all activity (Downloads, Previews, etc...) for a specific Box account. Currently the User Activity report only shows the activity that a specific user has done, but not what activities have been done against the content owned by a specific user. This would allow for a wide range of…

Collaborations Report: Add User Filter (same as Usage Logs)
Add ability to filter (like on Usage Logs) before running the report to avoid having to pull the report for all users (which takes quite a while as we know), then filter down in Excel.
Two Key Filter-able Options:
--Filter by Managed User
--Filter by Folder by choosing user -> choose folder OR by searching for folder nameThe Collaborations report is basically unusable as a large company due to the size of the report that's generated -- it's not scalable for us to have to pull the report for all users and filter down in Excel.

Visual Indicator on Folders with External Collaborators
Currently, when a folder has external collaborators in it, we show a small globe icon for that collaborator in the Collaborators list (sidebar + full collabs page), but no other visual indicator at the folder level.
Often, users want to quickly know "is this folder shared with anyone external/outside my company?" without having to manually comb through the full list of collaborators.
REQUEST: Add a visual indicator (either folder color, icon, 'tag'/label, etc.) at the folder level (visible from within the folder and possibly from the files list as a badge) to indicate when a folder has external collaborators in…

Allow Box Sign to work without open shared links
At this time, our organization does not allow open shared links to the world, only those in the organization and those with the folder shared to them (internal and external). We were dismayed to learn from Support and Engineering that Box Sign will NOT function in this configuration, especially considering we feel this is not an unreasonable level of security to have on our folders. We still want to utilize the Sign function - help us out!
14 votesWe pushed a change yesterday to allow for folders and enterprises blocking open links to still allow for signature requests. For more details please refer to https://support.box.com/hc/en-us/articles/4404094709779-Understanding-the-Sender-s-file-storage-and-permissions
Thanks for the patience as we fixed this issue.

Security Report: Log when apps are disabled/enabled in the Admin Console
Currently, when admins/co-admins mark apps as 'available' or 'disabled' in the Admin Console -> Enterprise Settings -> Apps page, no reporting event is triggered, meaning companies have no way to self-identify who enabled/disabled which applications/endpoints, and this is a major security concern for some customers.
REQUEST: Add entries to the Security Report in the admin console whenever:
1. A published app's status is changed between Available, Disabled, and Added by Default (via the Enterprise Settings -> Apps page)
2. An API key is added/removed from the Unpublished Applications Whitelist field on Enterprise Settings -> Apps14 votesWe are happy to announce that we have addressed this request. Details are available in the announcement.

Box Sign: ability to manually pre-fill or auto-populate fields for signers
Box Sign: Enable ability to pre-fill or auto-populate fields on my contract.
E.g. because we know the email is associated with:
FIRST NAME (e.g. "John")
LAST NAME (e.g. "Smith")
COMPANY (e.g. "NoName Inc.")
TITLE (e.g. "CEO")... then I can either manually pre-fill these or have them auto-populate on my contract via the CRM<>Box integration, a ZoomInfo<>Box integration, or otherwise based on the information attached to that person’s Box account.
Obviously, the signer recipient of the contract must also have the option to correct these fields, given there will be circumstances where the pre-filled or auto-populated fields are incorrect.
13 votesWe’re incredibly excited to announce read-only and pre-fill fields in Box Sign, now available to all Box Sign customers! With pre-fill fields, you can pre-fill data within specific fields prior to sending documents. Additionally you can toggle certain fields as read-only, locking field data and preventing it from being modified by signers.
Additionally: Senders can pre-populate data into read-only fields when leveraging Box Sign APIs for prefill tags or the batch send feature, when inputting data into the custom CSV. Now you can leverage Box Sign for high volume use cases with greater control over field data, like employee handbooks, compensation plans, and much more. Template tags will support read-only fields as well, enabling senders with a more streamlined sending experience without the need to manually drag and drop fields and mark them as read-only.

Display Shield classification labels by default beside the name of each item in a folder
When viewing the contents of a folder, it would be beneficial to the user experience to see which items are classified and how without needing to select the item or attempt to preview it.

Saving File Request Options
If you open “…” > File Request in the folder, you will see the “File Request” function.
There are 4 items in “Customize options” of file request.
There is a checkbox for each.If you close the screen with this checkbox selected, the next time you open it, it is unchecked.
Can there be a save button so that we are not mistaken that we selected settings for the link? Or can the settings remain checked so that when we re-open the option, we can see that we did select settings for the link?

Unmanageable API Key Whitelists
Enterprises with a lot of active software development groups have unmanageable API Key whitelists. This manifests in a lot of ways.
There is no way to limit API Keys to development (limit liability). Typical dev-qa-prod cycle requires 3 API keys. No way to associate API Keys to specific projects. There is no way to tell if old API Keys are still in use.

Ability to add branding to Box Sign notifications
Could fall under this request as well "Allow custom logo in Box notifications" - but just had a customer surface the need to add a logo to their Sign notifications, which would escalate the urgency to complete and return the document to the next signature.
12 votesWe've recently released custom branding for Box Sign, with this feature box customers can set their custom logo that will appear on the Box Sign notifications and signing experience
