Folder sprawl is an interesting challenge many of us face! To combat this, we’re recommending that users use the upcoming ‘Collections’ feature to group together content that’s frequently used vs. hiding content that’s infrequently used.

We are re-designing the managed users page and will focus on adding advanced filtering of managed users by status as a follow up. Right now, releasing the re-design will be our first priority, so filtering by status is not on the near-term

This is the natural behavior for lexicographic sorting which treats everything as a string. We are unlikely to change this behavior in the near- or mid-term.

Add additional collaborator role between "Editor" and "Viewer Uploader" that allows a user to delete
5 votesThanks for the suggestion! Based on the current information provided, we don’t currently have a feature like this planned.
We’d love to hear additional use case context from interested users, however, in why the need exists to have Viewer Uploaders be able to ‘delete’ without simply raising them to ‘Editor’ level. Any additional information would be very helpful.

In our implementation we have reserved Owners/ Co-owners for Service Accounts.
One of the main reasons is for security. We do not want our users to be able to change the sharing settings on folders and we want to be able to limit the use of anonymous links.
Also, we want to limit the users' who can permission other users.
Therefore we are stuck with Editors who can add users which we consider to be a distinct "Administrative" role. But they are the only ones who can delete a file
And Viewer Uploaders are hobbled by the inability to delete or rename a file.
We require a role who can perform all the Editor functions, without the ability to add users to a folder.
