Classification/Metadata Sorting
The ability to easily sort or filter classifications/metadata templates

Hey Alok, the sorting feature would allow users in large organizations with a high number of metadata templates or classifications to easily find the template that matters to them. There currently isn't a good way to manage metadata templates at scale and this would be a good start

Hi Alok,
Classification/metadata sorting could be used to create a workflow dashboard.
Let's just say we want to track the status of each document in the folder by creating a metadata tag named "status".
We can then sort that column to see all new, in progress, and completed items.
That's a simple example of what could be accomplished with sorting/filtering but thought that would be the most concise to describe over this forum. I'm more than happy to set up a call to discuss in more detail.
Thanks,
James -

Hello folks,
Could you share some use cases for classification and metadata sorting? What are you trying to achieve with this sorting? This will help us design this correctly. Thank you. -

At the Box Virtual Summit Jeetu Patel talked about flexible content viewing. Since then, I can not get the idea out of my head, that something like that might be possible. I searched for some more information on the flexible content viewing and found this idea here on boxPulse and just wanted to led you know, that I would be absolutely thrilled if I would be able to use metadata sorting in the future.
