Due to other higher priority items, this has been deprioritized.

The current version of Box Drive allows this: https://community.box.com/t5/Deploying-Managing-Box-Drive/Configuring-the-Default-Box-Drive-Folder-Location/ta-p/66248

Moving shared folders is not on the near-term roadmap. We understand the massive importance and we hope that a new product development to be released in 2020 will help address content sprawl.

Thanks for your feedback. We unfortunately don’t have plans to support a Linux client for Box Drive at this time.

This has been a long needed and often asked for addition to the Box set of tools. Especially in Higher Ed there are a large number of Linux users. With the impending demise of WebDAV it is even more imperative that Box deploys something for its Linux users. One has only to search the web to see that most attempts by the Linux community to give users access to Box were based on WebDav.

Requiring users, especially those that don't normally do it, to edit their system registry to move the location of their Box Drive folder is never a good idea. Bork your registry and bad things can happen. This setting needs to be moved to the UI for Box Drive so that the general user can do this safely.

This is not currently planned. We will reconsider this with additional demand.

The Atlassian Marketplace offers Box for Jira and Box for Confluence. AppFusions.com also have integrations for Jira and Confluence with Box.

We understand the request, but unfortunately this is not on the near-term roadmap. We are currently prioritizing automatically locking/unlocking files on Box Drive for Office files on Windows. We will revisit this feature in the future.

Good start, but I would think a better option would be to automatically lock the file if opened in a user's local app.
This has been a requested feature going back to the initial release of Box Drive. I find it hard to understand why other cloud storage providers can do this and Box can't or won't make this a standard feature.
