Conditional fields on File Request form
It'd be great to be able to have conditional fields in the File Request form so that certain fields are only exposed depending on the answer in the field(s) above.

Shield Shared Links: Password Requirement
Passwords for public links are wonderful, however, the capability to enforce all links (even those with internal or collaborator scope) would be beneficial for users and content security. If this password requirement could be tied to classifications as an access policy, that would make it increasingly difficult for negligent or malicious actions on Box content. Currently, we can only decrease the scope available for shared links, but by requiring a password, there will be additional adoption for Box and Shield, especially within highly regulated industries that require external or public distribution of content.

Make Workflows Shareable Among Users (Box Relay and Box Relay Lite)
In Box Relay, we can check the progress of workflows in the [Tracking] function.
Currently, only the owner of the workflow, and Admins who are granted to access to workflows can see this [Tracking].However, the progress of workflows within the enterprise should be visible to other users as well.
(e.g. Users who have tasks assigned in the workflow, or Co-Owners of the folder where the workflow is triggered.)It would be useful if the owners could share their workflows to other users.

File request: add the ability to pre-populate fields
It would be great if there would be a way to pre-populate the fields of a file request with "known-information" if available.
This would allow us to reuse a single file request in a portal, but set the metadata on the uploaded documents, based on the current user's context. Content can then be routed in the Box system based on the metadata set.

cascading auto-start workflows
cascading auto-start workflows. We have a specific use case defined that would greatly benefit from this capability - shield classification being applied automatically alerts the uploader of the file that the content needs to be moved. This would be a big win for USAA

Collaborator Clean Up
Collaborator Clean Up - In Account Settings / Collaborators, we want to add the ability to click on any collaborator and see what files and folders they have access to. When looking at the list, have a button available to remove them from specific folders as needed. This will be especially helpful when performing a CBN, Audit or Digital Clean up.

Auto overwrite if the file is uploaded with the same name in the folder via File Request.
In the current spec, the file with the same name in the folder is uploaded via File Request, the file name is automatically changed to containing date and time.
I want the option to overwrite the file when it has the same name of existing files.7 votes -

disable comments, tasks, and version history when "Hide collaborators and their activities from non-owners" is enabled
We would like a Function to disable comments, tasks, and version history when "Hide collaborators and their activities from non-owners" is enabled in the "Privacy" folder settings.
We want this because If you invite multiple external collaborators, we don't want external people to detect who you are inviting.
There is a function to hide collaborators, but if invited external users use comments, tasks, version history, it will be possible to see who is invited, so we would like to disable these functions as well.

Shield Alert - mark as resolved
On the dashboard for Shield, you see a list of alerts generated through threat detection policies. We'd like to see the functionality where end users could mark an alert as seen and/or resolved so everyone who monitors the Shield alerts would know whether it's been resolved or open. This is similar to a ticketing system, but a simple notes body on the alert where someone could put an explanation of their response to the alert would greatly enhance visibility and drive better usability. Thanks!

Metadata triggers without folder specification
--I want Box Relay to be able to kick workstreams off in sub-folders that don't exist yet. We have a general "Accounts" folder, and I want my metadata tag triggers to affect sub folders in that parent folder. However, the metadata trigger requires me to specify which specific folder to trigger the Relay within. I suggest one of two things:
1. Remove the need for folder specification. If I have a metadata trigger, do I really need to specify the folder in which the content lives? Relay should scan for that metadata tag, wherever it occurs.
2. Allow for Relay…13 votesThanks for your feedback. We’re exploring introducing new cascading triggers or system-wide workflows which would address this issue.

Jump to the same path on Box Drive directly from Box Web
Like Dropbox app, we would like a capability to move directly from Box Web to Box Drive. The usecase behind this is that we want to edit a file from Box Drive not Box Edit but want to search on Box Web.

Folder path under Trash
Under Trash, please add "folder path". If there was a bulk delete of many files in a folder, we want to confirm the file belongs in the folder path, before we restore the files.

Group Notifications
Add the ability to notify groups; i.e. @mention in comments, assigned task notifications in the activity pane and in Relay
71 votesWe are definitely tracking this feature, but it is not yet on the roadmap for delivery.
How would envision managing your groups?
Would you want to sync with an existing directory, or create the Groups directly in Box?

Comments / Tasks from Desktop (Box Drive)
In order to currently leave a comment on a file we have to right click on it, click on view on Box drive, which opens chrome, loads the file, then click on the comment icon on the right and then leave our comment
A quicker and much simpler way of doing this would be to bring in comments and tasks into the box drive app to save us all of those steps of having to do this through our browser. There are a couple ways of doing this
1) Bring in notifications, tasks and a comment stream into the system…

Need Tags in Mac Finder to be Supported in Box Drive
After installing Box Drive, you have to re-tag all of your folders in Finder. As if that is not annoying enough, the folders you tag (colored circles) don't show up when you click on the tags in the sidebar of Finder. Bottom line, Box Drive needs to support Tags in Mac OS' finder just like the Box Sync did.
