    This is a good use case, but other user statuses might partially solve some of these needs. Let us know in the comments if it does not.

    Could an "Inactive view only" status be created? Where the selected account is locked / the user can't login. However, collaborators can still see content owned by the ineligible user, but the content is set to view only. Collaborators could see the content and could download versions of content the ineligible user had previously granted them access to, but not edit existing content, upload any new versions of existing content or upload new content to folders owned by the user set to inactive view only.

  2. Inactive Status - Should have visual indicator that shows the account is inactive when user is still a collaborator on folder/file

    We are re-designing the managed users page and will focus on adding advanced filtering of managed users by status as a follow up. Right now, releasing the re-design will be our first priority, so filtering by status is not on the near-term
    (6 month) roadmap. We will revisit this after we release the new page.
