We don’t plan to implement this exception in Box Tools. However, we’re working on a related solution: the ability to open files in Finder/Explorer via Box Drive, where you can then choose to open them with a different app. Stay tuned for updates.

We are not planning releasing bulk delete functionality at this time since we are focusing our efforts on building faster and more usable users pages. We will revisit this feature request next year.

Enhancements to the Bulk Add/Edit feature are not currently on the roadmap, but will keep track of this request and consider prioritizing if many customers are requesting it. User status can be edited via API or SAML

I've learned that subsequent folders will remember the sort order you use in Box's initial "all files" screen. So if you open your folders from a link, you will have less control over default sorting in those folders.
In general, though, I wish Box had as many fields and capabilities as Windows File Explorer. You can't search within folders unless you're a parent-folder Owner, and you can't export lists of files to Excel unless you're a Box Admin. The lowly editor or viewer is locked out of those things.
