    This feature is not currently planned, but it is a second-priority item for our team. A related feature—the ability to open a file in Box Drive from the web app—is on our roadmap and will be an initial step toward supporting this request.     We are definitely tracking this feature, but it is not yet on the roadmap for delivery.

    How would envision managing your groups?

    Would you want to sync with an existing directory, or create the Groups directly in Box?

    Box Shield is an additional option for enforcing granular controls on content.
