We don't currently have this in roadmap. We have noted this feedback and will take this into consideration in future iterations of Notes.

What's the deal with this? We've disabled Box notes since there is no pinning. We will never adopt it at this point.

#1 Apple MDM and Box has chosen not to support it. I wonder why that is?

if you look in the admin console under "App Use Management" you can see all devices that users have pinned.

As some commenters noted, files are not cached automatically when users access a folder. Rather, the metadata on the files within a folder get cached. Files themselves will only be cached/downloaded if a user double-clicks on them.

Can we get response from Box, is this expected behavior? Accessing a folder will cache it to cache all files? I thought only files you actually double click to open are cached.

I find this issue quite funny. One of the many overlooked problems with Box Notes. Hope this gets fixed for your sake.

I find it really concerning how disjointed Box's application security stack is. Why aren't the Box apps consistently supported with the same security model? Box notes is also absent from any Certification authentication. The code is already written unless they outsource the development of their internal apps to multiple outside software developers. No excuse really.
