This is technical not feasible. Microsoft has not enabled the APIs that we need to leverage on mac.

We do not have near-term plans to add this capability right now. You might be able to get a similar effect by using Device Trust on those endpoints and requiring a specific certificate on a device, which is limited to just those groups of users.

Thanks for the feedback and please do keep it coming. Support for offline access for Notes is not currently on our roadmap, however we are researching possible technical solutions and will revisit in the future.

We are currently not planning to implement this feature and will continue to prevent all Box Drive results from appearing in Explorer/Finder searches.
Box Drive does not download the all of the metadata (File name, folder structure, etc.) of your Box content. Instead, it is downloaded on demand and then evicted when it is no longer relevant. This eviction process is not visible to users and it is not easily predictable. This would cause the search results in Explorer/Finder to be inconsistent for users – sometimes they would find a file and other times they may not if the metadata and file were evicted.
We have chosen not to download all of the metadata (and then keep it up to date with changes) as this can result in a large performance, storage and bandwidth tax which is not scalable – especially in environments where users interface with millions of files/folders.

Thanks for your feedback. We unfortunately don't have plans to support a Linux client for Box Drive at this time.

An error occurred while saving the comment Anonymous commentedYou are deprecating Box sync and not adding pinning to Box Drive so I don't quite understand the Box response on this.
"For the second half of this year, we are looking into which functionality should be self-serve for the end user without having to go through the admin every time. This is one of the functionalities that are under consideration."

Due to other higher priority initiatives, this is not prioritized at this time.

An error occurred while saving the comment Anonymous commentedEvery external collaborator we work with has this issue. Box refuses to acknowledge or fix it.

An error occurred while saving the comment Anonymous commentedEven though this is the point of Box Drive, to show you all of what you have on the web, I agree. Most users only have 4-5 folders actually synced out of the 100+ folders they are collaborators on. It's pretty annoying to have all that noise show on their devices, especially if they only go into some of those folders once a year. God I hope Box sync never goes away.

We currently do not have this planned on our roadmap. Please keep the feedback & use cases coming to help us prioritize this in the future!
Box Shield may be a potential workaround for users interested in restricting syncing of specific content by classifying it. Though this will also prevent any downloads of the content as well.

This is the natural behavior for lexicographic sorting which treats everything as a string. We are unlikely to change this behavior in the near- or mid-term.

We’ve been focusing on making the following improvement to Box Groups instead: allowing external users to be added to groups (https://pulse.box.com/forums/909778/suggestions/35982226) and using groups for granting access to apps and enterprise settings (https://pulse.box.com/forums/909778/suggestions/36670615).

Shield's download and print restrictions can prevent non owner/co-owner collaborators from downloading sensitive content based on classification and still allow them to open/edit the file with Office Online.

An error occurred while saving the comment Anonymous commentedCan I vote against this? Why would you want Video chat in Box. They are not a Unified Communication Platform, they are a content management platform.
Never gonna get it, Never gonna get it.
