You can disable notifications through OS controls for Box Drive. That being said, we are working on improving error handling in Drive to address the root problems and hopefully lead you to disabling notifications as they are an important part of our UX!

This needed to happen like yesterday. My organization is having tremendous difficulty migrating from Google Drive because of this. We're so cross-functional that files become unwieldy.

YES. We don't allow people to place files in Box's root folder. These error messages are a NIGHTMARE for end users. It's insane how much they heckle you without a "dismiss."
They actively make my life worse. I get so many helpdesk tickets, and the only good solution is logging out and back into Box Drive. Users usually store files that are long old by the time they reach out to the helpdesk.
