Thank you for the feedback. We do not currently have plans to add a “no action required” task type to our Tasks feature. That said, please continue to add use cases here, as we may consider in a future planning cycle.

We are working on an improvement here that will correct these file/folder counts, dates within 24 hours and usually much faster, and plan to ship it later this year. This is the first of a few planned improvements.

Our team has come across this issue too. One of our staff accidentally added an approval task to a file and it stayed there when it was approved. I had to download the file, delete it and re-upload a fresh copy to remove the task.
