    Thanks for the feedback. Adding @mention to the body of the Note is something that we believe would improve the annotations experience in BoxNotes. Although we can’t prioritize this feature at the moment, we will consider this feature when planning our future roadmap.

    We understand the request, but unfortunately this is not on the near-term roadmap. We will be exploring improvements and enhancements to Tasks in the next 1-2 years and will take this into consideration when we do.

    The concept of required metadata fields is common to varying styles of applications ranging from case management to workflow to legacy ECM systems. As Box integrates with these style apps, the need is increasing.
