Thanks for the suggestion! We are looking at how to improve content sprawl on Drive. We will be considering Collections as a possible path (among other options), but don’t have a change planned in the near-term.

An error occurred while saving the comment Anonymous commentedSimilar to this one, https://pulse.box.com/forums/909778-help-shape-the-future-of-box/suggestions/38283340-as-an-admin-i-like-to-be-able-to-search-on-a-folde
As admins of a 40000+ organisation, it is impossible to go into content and search for a folder name as there are hundreds of duplicate named folders. Similarly if i run a files and folder report it is massive. I can request box to do this via box support give them the link and they can advise the owner in a matter of moments. So box have the capabilty i think it should be shared to an admins organisation that we can search any folder id within our org.

An error occurred while saving the comment Anonymous commentedHi, I would like to request this to be considered. Currently we require hundreds of user activity reports to be ran on a weekly base. I have a small team that run these for the user and provide them to them, they are always different so we cannot schedule them. We would like the ability to have a workflow in service now to connect to box and allow the user to pull the user activity report with the categories they need and timeline. This would ease the amount of work that my team would have to do. We already have a self service collaborator report from service now for the users and its great.. Can this seriously be considered.

This is a great feature suggestion, and we plan to add it to the roadmap in the longer term
An error occurred while saving the comment Anonymous commentedHi, is there any update on this? A shared calendar that auto updates with the dates instead of manually having to add a template them to a box note, that you then need to insert the date and month and name of the week, year etc, A calendar would be an excellent feature to have alongside team meeting notes, projects notes etc. to have the capability to insert a calendar function, Would make the process more effiecient then to have separately use outlook calendar or confluence or another separate system. Thank you

An error occurred while saving the comment Anonymous commentedI would like to add this would be a beneficial change to see more content then just 3 files.
We would like to see this increased also or looked at in 2022 to see if anything has changed in the past number of years and that would allow the configuration to be modified. Thank youAnonymous supported this idea · -

An error occurred while saving the comment Anonymous commentedThere should be an option when you click the collaborators you can export the list to CSV file. The only other ways to get a list of users from the admin console. Is one run a collaborators report which shows everyone invited and doesnt have the removed users. 2 run and activity report find the folder - choose category collaborator and then choose when the folder was created and then run report and sort by who was added and who was removed. When as a user all I would need to do is click the collaborators and export option and it would be way easier. obviously the root folder doesnt always show all the collaborators if there in subfolders. But the owner and co-owner of the root folder should have the capabilty to see all users all the way down and then be able to export that list out. Is this a possibilty. Thank you

An error occurred while saving the comment Anonymous commentedOur organisation would see this as very beneficial. That via the user activity report we could report on all our users regardless of status. The way to do this now is too complicated based on if we have information on a file they may have accessed and a timeline, Or pulling all user activity and then filtering, The information is all there, It would make it much easier that if I placed in there email it should return there activity. Please look into this, thank you

Not on the roadmap for FY25, will evaluate for FY26
An error occurred while saving the comment Anonymous commentedI think this would be a very useful function, I had this scenario yesterday. Via the admin console. I can find the external user and remove them from what is being shared to them, But I couldn't block that user or tick a box until we resolved the issue to stop there access temporarily. I had to fully remove them and once the issue was resolved add them back into everything. Or there was no option to add a user to an exclusion list. To disallow a user inviting them to collaborate, you can block a whole domain but I didn't want to do that. I went to Box directly and they were not able to block a user either which I found strange, I was advised to invest in Box shield, which wasn't a great response. So an exclusion list for individual external users in the admin console and a function where you can temporarily halt access to the content shared to them. Thanks

This reporting ask is not yet planned on the roadmap. We are currently prioritizing last activity reporting for managed users.

Yes, it would be really useful if you could add the specific folder url and get a list of all collaborators from the root of that folder to last folder and take into consideration all the waterfall permissions and if users are added a few levels down on the folder structure.
