    Is there any update on this as to where it is in the roadmap. If BOX is to compete in the DAM arena for media and entertainment then this is crucial.
    I would love to see this sooner rather than later.

    This is basic, we have rolled out a registry change to support Windows long paths, but its made no difference, therefore we likely need this to be support at App level. If Egnyte can do it, then I am sure BOX can and should be a priority as it really limits BOX Drive.

    To expand on a use case for this:
    In our hierarchy we have client folders and sub folders for the departments, we are regularly finding users sharing the entire client folder or sub-department folder on a shared link, they are doing it relatively innocently (i.e. they are not considering the implications of their actions)

    We would like admins and co-admins to be able to restrict that ability to create shared links to those folders and restrict collaboration to internal accounts only.

    This would greatly improve data security through oversharing content.

    This is a great idea, however if the BOX Engineering team decide to investigate, it should be considered for Enterprise, and not just Enterprise Advanced plans.

    Agree, this is a big miss, there should be a Hub setting that allows us to either show the search or not show it, especially since the content is curated into the Hub anyway, big miss for us now that we have to tell our clients to create their own accounts to use the functionality.
