We'll be evaluating improvements to Shared Links later this year and will provide an update at that time.

An error occurred while saving the comment G George commentedAgree, we have users who would like this as the details tabs shows the total size but not the file count, where as a level back you would see the file count. As an efficiency and user experience gain it would be good to add an additional attribute to the details of the folder.

This is a very narrow use case, so it’s not a priority for our roadmap right now.
An error occurred while saving the comment G George commentedThis needs to be reconsidered especially for Enterprise level accounts. The simple fact of user experience when managing files alone should be enough, but more to the point, if a user creates the folder beforehand and then navigates back to the content they want to move, they have to then navigate in the Copy/Move dialogue to where they created their folder.
Why? The search in that dialogue either hasn't indexed the new folder yet, or the specific workflow may be that users are creating folders of the same name in their structures and the search could return 100's of them leaving the users the painful task of finding the correct one.G George supported this idea · -

An error occurred while saving the comment G George commentedWe consider this an absolute must as an enterprise solution that we are able to enforce passwords for all shared links, it came as a surprise the setting wasn't there in the first place and is being perceived by our clients as a public file sharing solution.
We have added it to our best practises for users to add one, but unfortunately during 1 week where 4000+ files/folders we shared only 5 were given passwords.
This is deemed as a major security flaw as we are leaving data exposed. As an organisation we are getting assistance on doing some development around this, but it needs to be baked into the product as an admin setting, especially at the enterprise tier offerings.

An error occurred while saving the comment G George commentedThis is a massive missing feature, the ability to browse and add to a basket or a collection and share that basket/collection of files/folders would be a great addition.
Agree, with the way the data is structured so the organisation service accounts own the data, the Owner in the report is useless to man or beast, it is essential to have the creator of the link for auditing purposes and to allow admins to contact the correct person for the intention of the share. Equally, if someone is exposing to much data (i.e. too far up a content tree) there may be cause to re-educate that person around the risks they are exposing the organisation to.
