We understand the request, but unfortunately this is not on the near-term roadmap.

An error occurred while saving the comment AdminAnonymous (Admin, Box) commentedMultiple customers of mine here at Box have brought this to my attention over the past few years. Box offers a very robust search tool but once the results are given, there are only two ways to sort the information. Relevance and updated are the only current options. Having the ability to sort by NAME, DATE and SIZE need to be added so users can quickly access the file they are looking for.

An error occurred while saving the comment AdminAnonymous (Admin, Box) commentedHaving the option to chose any of these three is VERY important. Here is an example of why forcing MFA EMAIL is important:
Here is the process:
1. Delta employees Tim
2. Tim shares a folder with Jane at Boeing
3. For security, the Delta admin required 2-step verification (Authenticator App, SMS or Email)
Jane chooses SMS b/c it’s faster and EMAIL was not forced.
4. Jane has access to the folder
5. Boeing terminates Jane
6. Tim has no idea Jane was terminated
7. Jane STILL has access to the Delta folder by logging into Box using her Boeing.com email even though she has been terminated from Boeing. Jane receives an SMS to authenticate since EMAIL was not forced. Jane is in Delta’s folder even though she does not work for Boeing any longer.AdminAnonymous (Admin, Box) supported this idea · -

An error occurred while saving the comment AdminAnonymous (Admin, Box) commentedI have a customer who has field agents with iPads only. No laptops. They use the Box app all the time but since Sign has no functionality in the app, they are forced to use an incognito browser on their mobile device to send templates for signatures. Using a normal browser redirects them back to the Box app which is not an option. Sending signatures through a browser from a mobile device is a terrible experience b/c they have to authenticate every time (manually typing in username, password, then MS authenticate, etc) not to mention the experience is lacking.
As we talk about our customers having the ability to be mobile and work from anywhere in this new hybrid environment, lacking some of the functionality in our app that allows them to be mobile creates frustration for our users. Having a Sign option in our app will allow users to go directly to that area to do their job instead of jumping through hoops.

An error occurred while saving the comment AdminAnonymous (Admin, Box) commentedI have a number of customers like Examworks, ABIDSS, Veritive, HireRight and King&Spalding to name a few who have asked about our capabilities around redaction. While our partnership with Image Access is great, having this built into our product would be amazing. Specifically for HR and Finance departments of which just about every company has, having this ability would make us more relevant as we expand our footprint in existing customers and acquire new ones.

An error occurred while saving the comment AdminAnonymous (Admin, Box) commentedI have had multiple clients asking about this b/c for the normal user sending requests for e-signatures are typically not going to know the conversion for UTC to their own time zone. If UTC can't be automatically converted, perhaps an addition of their time zone next to or near UTC would work.

An error occurred while saving the comment AdminAnonymous (Admin, Box) commentedThis is a functionality I'm asked probably once or twice a quarter by prospects and existing customers. Just last week I've had a global prospect ask for this type of user management. Please put this back on the roadmap . With over 180 votes, it would be great to know if this is something we can expect in the near future.

We are planning on adding the ability to resolve comments in the future, but do not have the ability to like comments as part of the roadmap.
Please keep the feedback & use cases coming to help us prioritize this in the future!

Some companies would like to have all signed documents returned to a specific folder instead of random folders chosen by the sender. Being able to force this from an enterprise level could be very helpful in organizing all signed requests.
