Allow someone to customize their Feed to either follow or unfollow users. Sometimes I don't want to see everyones activity
The Feed page gets so busy sometimes that I never bother really looking at it to make it useful. I would much rather prefer to follow only those users who are on my Team or in my Department. So, being able to "follow" users or groups seems more beneficial.

I agree- it is useless- way too many items if you are the admin or owner of a number of root folders. I haven't rolled it out in our company for that reason.
